My husband closed his tab at this bar but forgot to pick up his debit card off the counter. When we went back the next day to see if it was there, they handed it to him with a receipt for $5. He asked what it was for and they said they figured since he left his card there he must not care about it and would cancel it and they wouldn't get paid. So they charged his card $5 without his consent or his signature. They said they do this ALL THE TIME. Isn't that illegal?! Obviously if he went back to get it, he cares about it. If he went back to get it, it wasn't canceled. He asked them to give him 2 beers for the $5 and they refused. They told him he shouldn't have forgotten his card on the counter. ??? He left a review on their Facebook page Sunday and they deleted it. Seems pretty shady to me..
