Great place to watch a movie
We went the first weekend they were open and couldn't have been more happy. They did a good job of managing the crowd entering the parking area. The lot is tiered (the farther back you go, the higher up you are) so no worries about a big truck or SUV parking in front of you and preventing you from seeing the screen. They even provide ropes for folks to tie down their back hatches so they don't get too high for the folks behind them. Since you get audio over the radio, they even have battery chargers on site if your car battery dies. On a normal day it's $8 per adult for two movies. You can't beat that. The concessions are moderately priced. Certainly better than a typical movie theater. There is a playground for the little ones as well. If I had to make a complaint, it would just be that it's a little bit of a walk from some of the screens to the bathrooms and concessions. But otherwise, everything was great!

An easy & surprisingly fantastic family night!
We had made last minute plans to shop at The Shops at Grand River outlet mall, with Mountain High our focus. Pulling in we noticed the screens on the northwest side & joked about a drive-in at that location. After shopping we went yo check it out & found there to be FOUR SCREENS! We often would drive 45 min. further north or south to other drive-ins but the movie selections were not for us, so we eventually quit trying to plan. With four options for movies, everyone can find something. We watched two top-rated movies & loved it!! The parking area is terraced so you can actually angel your vehicle for better viewing. Bring a radio if you are concerned about your car's battery life, because there is a distinct radio station for each screen. That & the park rules are communicated very clearly in the paper you get at the ticket booth. If your battery does die our neighbor viewers said the park is ready & eager to give a jump. If that were all, it would be great, but there is also an affordable snack bar ($18 for large refillable coke, med pizza, large popcorn), bar for mixed drinks, very creative playground, picnic area, and soon a grassy area down front to watch from your blanket. The snack bar is a treat too. We'll go again. I had two of our boys with us & they are already planning outings with friends & girlfriend. Be aware though that admission is per person, not per car as a traditional drive-in would be. Also there is no screen-hopping; the double feature for which you start is the one you finish. We learned this at the courtesy of the parking manager. Items to consider taking: radio, sports chairs, blanket, favorite food to-go. Arrive early and toss a frisbee or football, & picnic. Enjoy a fun family night or take a big group.
