Needs cleaning
Grandstand area old, outdated, smelly, not very clean 2nd floor was fun with a bar, pool tables and Texas Hold Em but very dingy 3rd floor is the restaurant where you can watch races while dining; reasonable selection/prices but also dingy; staff not very friendly bathrooms needed serious updating and cleaning didn't give a poor rating because despite its flaws it was fun

pretty sad.
I just read that the wind creek casino purchased this ex greyhound park if so the city of mobile should make wind creek make it nice again. it was dark, dingy, i drove past it at first and came back. i was there on a sat night and there were few people there maybe a few dozen. no live greyhound racing on the premises now. the clubhouse on the 2nd floor appeared to be closed. and the menu was burgers and hotdogs mostly. Either make this nice again, expand the gambling or close it and make it something else. they did have monitors of dog and horse racing at other tracks, that you bet on by automated machines. this facility doesnt rate compared to the very nice casinos in nearby biloxi. by the way you must be 18 to gamble here.
