- 5.0 Pulaski Tunnel Trail (96 reviews)
-Nice short hike, watch the weather!
Hiking Trails
I took my 13 year old son here. It is only 2 miles each way. We had some difficulties because of the snow and ice at this time of the year, but we made it with hiking shoes/boots and nothing else. Just watch your steps with snow and ice. We took a few falls where the ice was melting, water on ice isn't a pleasant mix! See more..
- 5.0 Bagley's Teton Mountain Ranch (93 reviews)
-No Words Will Suffice
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Horseback Riding Tours
I cannot express enough how fantastic this experience was! I was a very hesitant rider, having had a bad horse accident when I was a kid, and I had never gotten “back in the saddle” until this ride. My family of 5 (kids ages 17, 14 and 11) took the two-hour ride up and down various mountain trails to the top of a peak with a spectacular view. The horses were so impressive, calm, and hand-picked for each rider. I will never forget my sweet girl, Smokey! But perhaps more wonderful than the horses and the view was the fantastic family that runs this operation. I could have talked with them all day - such wonderful people who truly wanted us to have the best experience possible. Well, that we did! So take the beautiful drive from Jackson Hole, WY to Victor, ID and spend your day with this amazing family and their beautiful horses. I promise, you won’t regret it! See more..

-Amazing flight
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Air Tours
This was our first time doing something like this and it by far exceeded our expectations. Our original date was rescheduled due to weather and we couldn't have been happier about it. We did an 8am flight and it was clear and beautiful. Ben, our pilot, was awesome. He gave us points of interest to look at as well as info about the area and the parks. He was super down to earth and friendly. As for the sights.....I can not put into words the pure beauty we saw. It was unbelievable and truly breathtaking. We are hooked now! If you have ever considered this type of flight, do it, it is worth every penny! See more..
- 5.0 Dry Ridge Outfitters (88 reviews)
-Everything i could have imagined
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Multi-day Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Horseback Riding Tours
Deb and Kevin were terrific. Really genuine people who provided an excellent family experience. One aspect of their business that I was especially appreciative of was their willingness to take my son, who is a very confident little 7 year old. I wanted him to have the experience of riding a horse in the county as I did when I was young and visiting the Tetons; Kevin quite honestly could not have been a better person for the task. He has a terrific combination of personality and patience. I also appreciated that when we got to our lunch spot he had three trained black bears in a tree waiting (just kidding, of course) - but the coincidence was uncanny. I loved that we still got off our horses and enjoyed lunch in that same spot despite the bears. My 7 year old quietly pulled out his swiss army knife in case he had to defend us. Such a hilarious and memorable moment. Thank you so much Deb and Kevin. I wish you both well. See more..

- 5.0 Orange Torpedo Trips (76 reviews)
-Hands down the BEST for Inflatable Kayak river tours.
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Boat Rentals
My friend and I had an outstanding multiday inflatable kayak trip on the lower Salmon with Orange Torpedo. The trip was in late August, and the guides were wonderful, the scenery magnificent and the rapids exhilarating ( but not terrifying). The thing that stands out the most, however, is Orange Torpedo's commitment to the inflatable kayaking experience. I own my own IKs and in addition to private trips have paddled multi-day trips with several other outfitters. Of those, only Orange Torpedo put a (terrific) guide in an inflatable kayak on the water alongside the clients. That level of personal guidance and instruction makes all the difference. If you are considering an inflatable kayak river trip - choose Orange Torpedo for the BEST experience. See more..

- 5.0 Rocky Mountain River Tours (74 reviews)
-Best vacation ever!
Multi-day Tours • River Rafting & Tubing • Eco Tours • Fishing Charters & Tours • Hiking & Camping Tours
Our family recently completed the Main Salmon trip with Rocky Mountain River Tours and it was fantastic. Our kids (10 and 14) were a bit nervous about camping for a whole week and a little scared that the rapids would be too adventours for them. By the last day they were both begging to stay longer and to paddle the rapids in one of the kayaks. All of the logistics were great, the food was amazing, the scenery was stunning and the activities were a blast. Our kids quickly made friends and we enjoyed getting to know the other parents and grandparents on the trip. By far the very best part of this trip was the guides. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond each day to make sure we were safe, comfortable and having fun. I especially appreciated that three of our six guides were women. It was awesome for my 10 year old daughter to have such amazing role models on this trip. They really inspired her to get out of her comfort zone and now she loves kayaking. See more..

-Sawtooth Traxx: Outstanding Idaho Snowmobiling Trails & Outfitter

Sawtooth Traxx is great outfitter and is in the perfect location for getting to some amazing scenery very quickly. We rented for a full day and it was totally worth it. We went to Stanley Lake in the morning and Redfish Lake in the afternoon with a stop at Mountain Village Resort for a nice hot lunch in between. It was a nice mix of open and tree lined trails with some nice elevation changes - the two lakes are iconic and were so cool to see in a frozen state. The management and staff were very nice and helpful - a pleasure to rent from. We highly recommend this activity & outfitter and it is definitely worth the hour drive from Ketchum/Sun Valley for such a unique & wonderful experience. This was a very memorable trip and one we will definitely be doing again. See more..

Scenic Drives
May 8/19 - we drove up from Boise through Horshoe Bend, Banks and then turning right onto the famous trail from Banks to Lowman, and then on through Stanley, Challis and to Salmon. A truly spectacular drive, winding up and down along the river. (winter driving must present an interesting challenge, I would think!). Magnificent scenery all around, good roads throughout, not much traffic, truly a drive to enjoy at a leasurely pace, and "smell the roses" on the way. We took about seven hours for the drive - but were moving at a leasurely pace, stopping often to admire nature's handiwork, and some food in Stanley. Loved the drive - can recommend. See more..

-Unparalleled experience with fantastic guides
Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Multi-day Tours • River Rafting & Tubing • Fishing Charters & Tours • Boat Rentals • Day Trips
Fantastic experience. We took a family trip with nine of “the boys” on a 3 day excursion. Everett, Jazz, and Zack are wonderful guides who fit right into our group and became part of the family. They went out of the way to make everyone from age 16 to 73 feel comfortable. The food was unbelievable with cheese and wine plates and salmon and steak…well above what our group of knuckledraggers was used to. The fishing was only okay but we were able to catch and release some every day. I recommend including the inflatable kayaks as they added a new dimension to the rapids and we were able to all try them at some point. I highly recommend going with these guys on any trip and only wish we would have done a longer one. We’ll be back next year. See more..

One of the best ways to enjoy Idaho’s Salmon River, regardless of the Fork. I think you go to do the Middle Fork, or The Main, thinking about Wilderness and the excitement of a fast flowing river, If you are planning on a river trip I would Highly recommend this fellas services. James is sharp to the point of making sure the guides and staff are in tune with both the river, as well as music, and clients. Safety is the issue, however food comes in a handsome second. We just got off a two week float down both the Middle then Main, James was accommodating to the Max, and I can’t tell you how much his staff made this trip so much more enjoyable. Amazing trip! What a wonderful experience for our family! There were eight guides for 22 of us and they were each so experienced and hard working, always polite and gracious with smiles on their faces. They did it all--guide, row the oar boats, supervise the paddle boat and kayaks, gave casting and fishing lessons, rescued another company's stuck "sweep" boat, pitched tents, cooked gourmet meals, played the guitar, threw horseshoes, and created a fabulous obstacle course game at camp one night. Allie was our trip guide and was superbly well prepared and experienced-easygoing but underneath, you knew she had it all under control. -Unforgettable Main Salmon Rafting Trip
Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM River Rafting & Tubing • Fishing Charters & Tours • Nature & Wildlife Tours • Kayaking & Canoeing
My family (2 adults/5 teens) just returned from a 6 day/5 night Main Salmon trip with the Aggipah crew. We initially prioritized a local company with an established reputation and knowledge of the river/area. There are numerous reviews below that go into great detail describing the awesome food, fun inflatable kayak availability and comfortable tents/campsites that are all included with an Aggipah trip. Just like everyone else already said, we also truly had the trip of a lifetime. Stephanie and Bill answered all our questions beforehand and have an immeasurable amount of local knowledge that they share throughout the week. Everything from the initial communication to the travel transfers went seamlessly. Each guide had something different to offer, and all were 100% top notch (Thanks Brian, Graham, Jamie and Sidney!). We've been home less than 48 hours and are already working on planning a Middle Fork trip for Summer 2022 - Thanks Aggipah!! See more..
