   Steve selling business to Trace, appears to not be much continuing cooperation between them. WillowAir or Alaska Guide & Outfitting Service, LLC, does not matter-same operation. Weather does dictate everything on this hunt so plan on adjustments. Do not use MSR or ceramic filters, worthless on the Innoko River. Went on the DIY Moose Hunt in 2022. Steve would not allow his metal boats and bigger motors to be touched by any of the hunters. Pontoon Boats (tiny) provided by Trace would not fit all gear & barely two guys, and motors (3.5 hp-max speed was trolling) provided did not allow you to hunt the area they directed you to hunt. 1 mile on river=1 1/2 hours in boat, one way. 2 miles=3 hours, one way, could not even go 3-5 miles away as not enough gas to carry. Boats limited areas to hunt-Very disappointed in this hunt/operation. One group even had bear bite into boat when parked on bank & need to await a few days for replacement.    Failed to comply with its Terms & Conditions, online advertising, and assurances provided by Rick Hedding (co-owner) via email. “Full days on the water” and 8 hours of guided fishing per day was actually 5 hours or less on Days 1-3, and less than 4 hours on Days 4-5. At the time of purchase Rick indicated that only 4 guests would be present during our trip; however, the week began with 5 and an additional 4 arrived on Wednesday for a total of 9. On Day 4, Rick changed fishing arrangements and moved my brother and me from Captain Morgan’s boat to his and told us that we must now rotate fishing with the 3 other guests on his boat by fishing for an hour and then sitting in the cabin for the next hour. The provision of “We will clean, vacuum seal, label, and flash freeze your catch daily. At the end of your trip we will box up your fish in our specially designed waxed corrugated fish containers ready for your travel back home” did not occur, as all of the fish we caught were not packaged and provided to us. Although “steak and bake, ribs, chicken, fish (your catch)” is the menu all but one dinner was seafood and the other was a chicken breast each. Using fish caught by guests, without obtaining their explicit permission, to feed all guests, staff and family is inappropriate and not consistent with the Fish Processing provision above. To date, neither Rick nor Tasha responded to dissatisfaction expressed verbally, in the survey provided Friday evening, and via email on 27 June. See more..
