With our 7bbl brewhouse we have at least 12 brews on tap, available to customers by the glass in the tasting room or by the growler to go. When first established in 1999, we rented a small building at the local Fairgrounds where we operated for 16 years. And now, since September 2015 we are in our new building on Main Street, downtown Haines. Our retail space grew from a customer capacity for 12 people shoulder to shoulder - to room for 49 indoors and an outdoor beer garden with stunning views. Well worth the effort….Found this place but not easy as 1. It has changed name and is now the Harbor Mountain Brewing company. Also 2. Tripadvisor map puts it slightly in the wrong place. You can find it on the main road just behind the service station at saw mill creek road. Greeted by super helpful staff helping us select a few flights of beer. Tried various lagers, IPAs and stouts all excellent and of course all brewed on the premises. Also bonus is there is a separate company sharing premises that serves amazing pizzas - Campfire. We were here during a port call – we did a search for a local brewery and walked on over and I wish we had stopped here for longer than just one beer it was that good. The service was great, beer was excellent (we all had a variety), and sitting outside with great weather made it a fun stop. I wish I could have had some of their to-go beers to take back with me to the lower 48. If you’re in town and looking for a nice brewery, I would highly recommend stopping here.See more..
