    The Best!
With its unsurpassed outdoor sculpture collection and diverse and well-maintained gardens this is one of the main gems of the entire Grand Strand area. I highly recommend purchasing tickets for the boat excursion, too, as it’s an enjoyable 45-minute trip filled with historical information and great wildlife viewing. We were very pleased that the entrance tickets are good for a week. This gave us a chance to come back a second day to focus on the indoor sculpture galleries.

Highlight of our Myrtle Beach Trip!
This was the highlight of our week stay in Myrtle Beach. We spent most of a day (11-4pm) there and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were fortunate enough to go past the gift shop when we arrived and a volunteer was there to show us the map and a recommended route to take through the gardens. We began our walk with Live Oak Allee and followed all of the paths on that side of the map (left side) making sure to see all of the wonderful sculptures listed on the map. Of course, these are only the largest sculptures but they are truly spectacular! We stopped to share an excellent BLT Sandwich at the "Kitchen" restaurant and then continued our walk making our way from left to right where we ended up at the Zoo. By then, we were walked out and didn't actually see very many animals. For this reason alone, because your ticket allows you to return for a full week, we would recommend returning and perhaps visiting the zoo and some of the other sites on the right hand side. The gift shop has really wonderful, unique items and we enjoyed an hour in there as well.
