Our kids (2,6 and 7 years old) enjoyed this park to the maximum! All games are suitable for their age. Also the fairy tales mini village, that was so much fun. We needed around 3 hours to finish the whole park (the weather was a bit rainy, so we were almost the only visitors , with a couple of other families , so on normal days, the park would certainly need 4 hours to finish). We stopped at this park to kill a little time as we had arrived early to board the Ferry back to Newcastle and wanted the children to run off some energy. The park is approximately 5-10 minutes from the port and has ample free parking. The entrance is €1 per person and inside the enclosed park there are toilets and a small cafe with plenty of seating where a coffee will also only set you back €1!! The park itself is quite big and has an enormous amount to keep the children entertained there was even an arts and crafts area set up near the entrance. Well worth a trip especially on a sunny day. A really nice place to go for young kids to play and for parents to sit in the garden and enjoy a cool drink or a coffee. We also had a children’s party here. Our team dinner here was very memorable. We enjoyed cocktails in the cozy rustic bar area which was just blissful. We then enjoyed a 5 course dinner which was nearly perfection. The only disappointment was the chef chose two back to back cold tartare starters which was a bit odd given the first course was a cold carrot soup. The cold soup was followed by beef tartare and the salmon tartare, so of the five courses 3 were cold. Given that is was a chilly evening, we would have all preferred warm starters and certainly not two tartare options. Having said that the dinner while expensive was divine. I would recommend over and over again. The location offers a gorgeous patio for dining by the water and views of Amsterdam's famous windmills. See more..

De leukste overdekte speeltuin van het Gooi Bij indoor speelparadijs Spelekids kunnen kinderen voor een vaste prijs de hele dag spelen in onze overzichtelijke indoorspeeltuin. Ouders en verzorgers kunnen onder het genot van een lekker kopje koffie of thee kijken naar de kinderen die zich optimaal vermaken in de speelstructuur. Daarnaast is er gratis WiFi en zijn er goede werkplekken, dus als ouder of verzorger kun je gewoon je laptop meenemen. Speelfaciliteiten Spelekids Bij Spelekids hebben we veel verschillende speelmogelijkheden, denk aan een 4 meter brede boulderwand, trampolines, interactieve speeltoestellen zoals de Sona die beweging omzet in geluid en een grote klim- en glijstructuur. Genoeg om je een hele dag goed te vermaken! Uiteraard is er bij Spelekids ook rekening gehouden met de allerkleinste kinderen. Swimming pool Sijsjesberg in Huizen is perhaps one of the most beautiful outdoor swimming pools of our country. The location is without a doubt unique. The bath is sheltered in woods and heath. In the pool is a diving tower with a separate jumping pit and there is a large family slide. There is a spray park for the little ones in the shielded paddling pool. In the surrounding area you will find large sunbathing areas, a sports field and a sun terrace with comfortable sunbeds. When the weather is nice, you can go to the candy house for fries, soft drinks, ice cream or candy. More than enough for a lovely day out. See more..

De zomervakantie voor het noorden van Het land was voorbij en dat was te merken. Heerlijk weer maar zeer rustig bij de lagune en aan zee.
De kinderen hebben zich prima vermaakt op het schip en met zoeken naar schelpen en krabbetjes.
