This is a must do! Dress up in Dutch traditional clothing and have your picture taken at a very reasonable price. Basic package for 2 persons that consists of 2 copy of the photo in A5 size costs €14. We also got this voucher coupon from the tourist Centre in Volendam that give us a free cd-rom with all our photos. It was quick and easy and we are done in less than 20mins but waiting time for the photo to be processed takes about 30mins.See more..

We visited the place for the first time with our children, respectively 10, 8 and 1 years old. We all enjoyed the place very much. There is an area outside and one inside. We had been in the latter and it is possible also to buy the ticket for one of the two zones. The children and us had a great time. Inside there is a large pool excellent for children younger than 5 years old. The smaller child had a fantastic time there, and also the two old ones had a lot of fun. There are five water slides that we adults also tried with a lot of fun.See more..

Our team dinner here was very memorable. We enjoyed cocktails in the cozy rustic bar area which was just blissful. We then enjoyed a 5 course dinner which was nearly perfection. The only disappointment was the chef chose two back to back cold tartare starters which was a bit odd given the first course was a cold carrot soup. The cold soup was followed by beef tartare and the salmon tartare, so of the five courses 3 were cold. Given that is was a chilly evening, we would have all preferred warm starters and certainly not two tartare options. Having said that the dinner while expensive was divine. I would recommend over and over again. The location offers a gorgeous patio for dining by the water and views of Amsterdam's famous windmills.See more..
