Easy hike amazing views

Pleasant hike very easy with amazing views. To see all of the lakes you need to take the tour in summer. Lots of wildlife if you stay they come out. Great gift shop and clean facilities. Parking was only 500 yen and they open at 9am.

Easy hike amazing views

Bears? What bears?
Shiretoko visitors MUST take the Goto Lake walk! Great Hokkaido nature. But don't expect to see bears! Those critters are dangerous and the trail is closed if even one comes anywhere near. Don't expect to see much wildlife at all. Drive the area roads at dusk and you will spot all the deer and fox you want. On this hike, you will see the picturesque five lakes and they are well worth it.
