    If it is -11 outside and windy this underground passage will sure become your very best friend. It connects the most important and vital parts of the city around Odori Park, stretching from the JR Station all the way to Susukino but the straight walkway also diverts into many lateral branches, all full of food courts, shops, malls and even connects some of the major buildings. I have to say that it is not easy to use and even a map may not help you find your way as being underground can be sometimes confusing.     こちらは岩見沢方面から国道12号線で江別市内へ入る手前右側にあります。
    防災ステーションと書いてありますが、1階は江別市の特産品とかが販売られており2階がレストランと上川丸（外輪船で船底がフラット（浅瀬でも航行できるように）な作りで、石狩川の上流（雨竜地方）から材木とか農産物を江別まで運んだそうです）というクラッシックな蒸気船の実物大模型と石狩川の歴史に関する資料展示がおります。
    屋上からは千歳川、石狩川、王子製紙、美原大橋と石狩平野が見渡せてとても気持ちがいいです。     See more..

    You cannot get to the park from the railway station for two reasons. You cannot access the platform to cross the trainline via the over bridge as access is barred until a train arrives. Secondly, the park has a barrier fence. The park is large and well grassed, suitable for a dog exercise park, but not much else. See more..

    国道274をドライブしていると、トイレマークが目に入ってきました。
    思わず立ち寄ると防災ステーションでした。
    2階建ての建物で、1階は隣を流れている千歳川とその支流の洪水の歴史的が展示されていました。
