    almost 100 years old, the church is extremely well kept. little wonder and just little worthwhile trouble to swop winter boots for Japanese slippers at the inner door the colours of the altar and other painted woodwork look as authentic and inspiring as one would see in Tirol where they were crafted. was meaningful to learn of the biblical and missionary who’s who from the brochure (in English and Japanese) and see Melchizedek, Archangel Michael & St Francis Xavier by the Crucifix while mass was in Japanese, the coordinators made it a point to introduce and welcome us foreigners. warm Catholic and warm Hokkaido hospitality on a winter Sunday See more..

    寂しげな夕張の施設の中では（晴れていたせいもあり）一番印象的でした。
    夕張で見た中では唯一のしゃれた洋館だったせいかもしれません。
