  1. 4.0 Kentucky Kingdom (949 reviews)
    - Great Park with Fun Coasters!
Tuesday: Spent More than 3 hours Amusement & Theme Parks • Water Parks
    Kentucky Kingdom image
Kentucky Kingdom and Hurricane Bay offers more than 70 thrilling rides, coasters and water attractions! In 2014, we doubled the size of Hurricane Bay Water Park, adding eight new attractions and the world's tallest body slide, Deep Water Dive! We also introduced Lightning Run roller coaster- a steel coaster with a 100 foot, 80-degree drop; T3, a suspended looping coaster with five gravity-defying inversions - sure to make you flip head over heels, literally; on our award-winning coaster, STORM CHASER! Storm Chaser is the first coaster in America to feature a barrel roll drop from a 10-story lift hill – and don’t get us started on the 78-degree angle of that drop… that’s nearly perpendicular! 2. 4.0 Beech Bend Park & Splash Lagoon (422 reviews)
    - Beech Bend Park is a nice little park
Amusement & Theme Parks • Water Parks
Beech Bend Park & Splash Lagoon image
My primary reason to go to Beech Bend Park was to ride the Kentucky Rumbler rollercoaster. The day ticket for adults is $37.99 which is a bit high for what this park has to offer, but the online ticket price of $30.99 is much more reasonable. There are 3 rollercoasters here. A small SBF spinning coaster which many parks now offer. A Wild Mouse which is very smooth for this type of coaster and the Kentucky Rumbler which is the undisputed star! A wooden rollercoaster that is very intense and seemingly wants to throw you out of the coaster every hill and corner. A max thrill machine that never lets up! Their Haunted house ride has some of the best horror props I’ve seen in this type of ride. I found all the employees to be very friendly. The park has a waterpark as well. Overall a very clean park with lots of room to expand. Coaster Enthusiasts should not miss the GCI made Kentucky Rumbler! See more..

    - Great Family Fun
    Water Parks

We made the trip from Tennessee up to Somerset, KY primarily to visit this water park. And it did not disappoint. For our family of 5 to get into the Water Park and eat lunch it was around $100 and we spent 4-5 hours before leaving as the kids were wore out and done for the day. There is a small playground shallow area for the small kids with sprinklers and a dump bucket. You have several slides and tube slides for the older kids and adults. There is the lazy river which is good. And then we all enjoyed the wave pool. The place was clean and a handful of staff were regularly going around and cleaning up the area. There also seemed to be multiple lifeguards on duty in each section. We had a good time and would recommend it to other families. See more..
  6. 4.5 Paradise Cove Aquatic Center (37 reviews)

    Paradise Cove Aquatic Center image
The Paradise Cove Aquatic Center opened in 2008 and features a well pool with diving boards, an ADA lift, an Aqua Climb rock climbing wall. The feature pool is zero depth entry and has a kids play structure with water sprays, a net climb, and a dumping bucket. For the younger kids, there is a kids slide and an 18in shallow pool. For older kids, and the young at heart, there is a family slide for multiple riders, a whirlpool, and open swim areas which are between 0 inches and 40 inches deep. The main attraction at this facility are the 40 feet slides- one straight chute and a spiral slide. Restrooms, lockers, and affordable concessions are all located on site. Shade Structures and lounge chairs are available on a first come/first serve basis. Breaks are called every hours at 10 minutes to the hour for bathroom breaks. Adults are permitted to swim in both pools during this time while the children rest. See more..

We went to lost river cave and wanted to do something else, but not spend a lot of money. I would call this a cross between a local pool and a water park. Low entrance price and very very cheap food prices. I wouldn't make a trip just for this, but my kids ages 12 and 7 loved it!! See more..

  10. 4.5 Fort Knox Water Park (9 reviews)
    - Nice relaxing place to spend the day!
    Water Parks
Nice water park. Liked that the life guards were placed all over and water wasn't super deep. Plenty of seating and several areas of shade. Nice that you are allowed to bring in your own cooler with food & drinks but didn't like that you had to go to picnic area to eat a snack or lunch. Also $6 for military seems a bit crazy when civilians pay $8, Why not at least half price for military so we feel like we are getting a deal for being in the military. Also adults should not be as much as kids when the majority of the pool is for the kids. Still a nice clean pool and fun for all. See more..
  11. 4.0 Anderson Dean Aquatics (6 reviews)
    - Nice water park.

This is a nice community water park. There's a three-story water slide. A water playground and small slide for the younger kids. Diving boards and swim lanes. It wasn't super busy the day we were there. Lots of room in the pool. The kids loved it. The concession stand has a large menu and is reasonably priced. Entrance fee is $5. A great way to pass an afternoon. See more..

  13. 5.0 FRP-LaGrange Quarry (1 review)
    - Great Way to Relax on the Quiet Water Or Scuba Dive
Tuesday: Spent More than 3 hours Water Parks
We had a very nice afternoon relaxing on the calm water of this quarry. No Frills. No Refreshments. Just a place to put you and your float on the water to paddle around or just float in peace. No one under the age of 18. NO ALCOHOL. Floats available to purchase if you forgot your own. We had to buy a twin blowup mattress because our float deflated itself shortly after we got in. They're very strict about No Alcohol, which is fine with us. Very well behaved guests as they don't tolerate any excesses. Scuba training was available. The water was Very clear 20-40 Ft visibility.
