My family and I have traveled to eat at Patti's since the 1990's. We have always found it to be a welcoming place where everyone feels at home. The stores help to bring some additional ways to pass the day at a leisurely pace. The Christmas decorations were still up and a nice stroll through the lights after dinner was beautiful. The only concern I have is the prices seem a little steel on the actual meals and the food goods sold in the gift shop. The natural Bridge is a beautiful thing to see. I recommend that you take a bottle of water it says it’s only three force of a mile walk but it’s Up hill a lot of the way. It’s very beautiful walk though they have places where you can sit down and take a break. Once you are at the natural Bridge you can actually go to the top of it and walk a crossed. We took my 75-year-old mother who is in good shape she enjoyed the walk altogether we spent about three hours. Great thing is it’s free and good way to have some quality family time.See more..

Detweiler's was really charming. There were lots of Amish folks shopping, as well as working the register. They have home goods and some Amish clothing, as well as a small grocery store, which includes ice cream! We bought 4 ice cream cones (two were double scoops) of their hand churned ice cream and a bag of english toffee for $10.50 It's about an hour from Ft Knox. This store is located in Hart County which has the highest population of Amish in KY, so it was enjoyable to see all the Amish farms/barns and buggies out and about.See more..

Nice little garden in Livingston. The fella running it is very nice and helpful. He has a quaint gift shop with many items made in Kentucky. Don't trust Google Maps, we had to call to find it. It is on the other side of Livingston from where Google had us. The garden is nice and has a trail. We weren't able to walk all of it because there were prom photos happening and we didn't want to disturb. The parking lot is a bit tight. You can check out the peacocks and guineas as well.See more..
