Children really enjoyed the day full of blow up slides. Also skated and played putt putt golf. The older kids climbed the rock wall. All were able to ring the bell. The workers are concerned for everyone's safety and well-being. There was even an area where the little ones could play without worry that they would be run over by the older ones. It is situated about a mile from Exit 2 of the I-65 & is adjacent to Kentucky Downs Racetrack. Set in lovely countryside it looks after several sleek retired horses. A volunteer guide takes visitors to various paddocks where you can feed these lovely animals carrots and take photos. Each horse has their own story & some have only just avoided a less favourable ending to their lives. Came in with a couple of friends 2 hours before closing time. We have never been there before and were pretty excited. They told us that since it wasn’t busy they were closing an hour early which gave us only 1 hour to skate. We did anyway because we already made plans but still had to pay full price which was 10$ each. I do not know what a busy day looks like but there were plenty of people there, I’m guessing almost 20-25 so I feel very cheated. On a positive note though it was a beautiful rink and the skates was great. Wonderful music choices as well and we had fun but the closing early for no reason, we felt, really made us upset. Ok place if you like to skate. We have not had a roller skating rink where we live in several years. Since we were staying close by we thought we would give it a try. The staff was friendly, mostly young kids working. Our family had fun skating. Not many people so it made it easier. There are a ton of arcade games as well. Not much food at all and the pizza they had in the warmer looked days old. I think if they offered more food and beer then they would triple the number of people showing up.See more..
We were visiting EKU for the family weekend in September. My daughter found this facility on the guest information list from the University. On the last day of our visit we decided to play golf as a family. What a beautiful facility. A beautiful lake is on the property, where you can go fishing. Batting cages were available along with a playground for the younger set. We enjoyed a 18 hole golf game. As seniors we only paid $2.00 what a deal. We had fun and enjoyed our last day visiting with our granddaughter from the college. Glad we found this facility and hopefully you will get to enjoy it too when visiting Richmond KY.See more..

Ok so my family went to RUGC in the beginning of Jan. and had a great time. We paid $60 for 20 games of laser tag that was more like a battle simulator out of Call of Duty. We split up the games between the 5 of us so it was 4 games a piece that lasted at least 15 min. each. The kids loved it and we had a great time too. Oh and if we wouldnt have used all 20 games it would just stay on our account for another day. The buildings interior is pretty decrepit. Several of the ceiling tiles are either broken or sagging, many of they showing water damage. There is dirt and/or mold on some of the walls. The wall in the mens restroom is dirty and warped. The carpet that runs throughout most of the building is dirty and worn out. The roller rink itself is warped and uneven from flooding from which apparently no repairs were ever done. The rink floor is also dirty the point where I would hate to scrape/cut a knee or elbow in a fall for fear of risk of infection. There is a "no refunds on machines" sign posted but it is obscured by a large (nonworking) game placed directly in front of it. Literally at least half of the games are unplugged and/or not in working order. When I was there they had one staff member handling all check ins, entry fees, skate rentals, and cashing in of tickets. I'm listing this location as good for thrill seekers, as I advise anyone going there to do so at their own risk.See more..
