    Green River Stables is in fact the best kept secret in Kentucky. GRS is a horse camp and RV park right on the edge of Green River State Park. It offers guests a wide range of services with 81 full hook up RV sites, with 30 or 50 amp connections and 52 horse stalls. Being on the parks edge gives guests front door access to the state park horse trails and hiking trails. There is a lounge in the main barn area which offers a great place to hang out and meet other campers. 3 TV's and a stage area in the back often plays host to live music on some weekends and karaoke on others. Call in advance for event weekends to plan accordingly. They owners are very friendly and personable and are always ready and willing to show their guests a wonderful time. If your going to be in the South Central Kentucky area, do yourself a favor and book here, you won't regret it! See more..

    My husband and I took our kids here for a trail ride. Our guide Jordan was wonderful and very professional. The farm itself is very large with beautiful views. The cost was affordable for the great experience we had and the location is conveniently located minutes from the center of Elizabethtown. They also offer lessons, events at their indoor riding arena, and horse boarding. We will definitely be going back! See more..
