Be ready to climb, crawl, belly crawl, and squeeze! I would recommend being in pretty good shape it’s not easy. It is def. the best thing going! The tour fills up fast so plan your trip and book online well in advance. Amazing time and not for the faint of heart there are lots of sections you could fall very far with one slip, and not just walking past you have to crawl up, around, and slide over platforms on angles that may be wet right beside 100+ foot drops but again it’s awesome enjoy!!!!See more..
Don’t listen to any negative reviews about this cave. It was an amazing experience that I would do again in a minute. I am honestly baffled that anyone could say this cave was boring; it was anything but boring! It has some challenging uphill but the guide stops and talks after the tough ascents - a great chance to rest and get ready for the next trek. So awe inspiring and fun… a must if your able and into longer hikes and enjoying a truly unique caving experience.See more..

As a horse lover and equine photographer, I had to visit the mountain horses while I was at Red River Gorge (an easy 30 minute drive away). Laura was a great tour guide and spent every minute of our tour tracking down as many horses as possible for us to see, which I greatly appreciated!! She even brought bags of carrots for us to feed the horses who were curious enough to visit with us. Also loved learning about what the AHP does for these herds. Would definitely recommend checking out their tours, I’ll be back for sure!See more..

There are 3 companies that are liscensed to operate kayaks/canoes on the Green River within Mammoth National Cave. I chose this one based on it being more of a mom/pop place then a commercial endevor with the zip lining and other activities. Not that there is anything wrong with those activities, I just wanted something a little more low key. And boy, did I get it! They welcomed me the minute I drove up. Everyone was very friendly. After a brief safety lesson, we took a van to the drop off point. I was the only one booked for this time slot. They carried the kayak for me, gave me my paddle and sent me on my way.
