This was our first NASCAR experience and we had great time. We had a 13, 11 and 9 year old with us and we honestly did not know what to expect. It was blazing hot and we thought the kids wouldn’t last long, but we were wrong. The soaked up all the sights and sounds of the event. We ended up in the Fan Zone, down on pit road, and we even were able to sign our names on the finish line. The kids were able to get in the Grand Marshall car and act like they were driving. We watched the drivers get introduced and enjoyed a concert from High Valley. All in all it was a great event. We had heard nightmares about the parking, but we had absolutely no problems getting in our out. We had a number of great pics with the entire family. See more..

My husband and son are into cars. They watch tv shows about drag racing all the time. I finally went to a race thinking I would be bored out of my mind because cars are not my passion. Well needless to say, I have a new found respect for this sport. It was exciting to watch cars race down, it keeps your adrenaline pumping as a spectator. Families were everywhere, making memories with their children. Generations spending time together. The hospitality of the staff is amazing. As a spectator, I highly recommend it for a fun weekend experience. See more..
  4. 4.0 Kentucky Motor Speedway (8 reviews)
    - Good facility. Need to improve exit strategy

This was my family's first visit to this speedway. The facilities were great. Nice parking area, we were able to tailgate and there were plenty of clean portable restroom facilities nearby. The Track had comfortable seating and great views from anywhere. We were talking about how this may be a yearly event. However, trying to leave that night was horrible. I am not exaggerating when I say that we were at a complete standstill for 2 hrs!!! We never even moved an inch in our car. Eventually, we literally squeezed between some other parked cars and was able to get to the top of the parking lot and find a way to the exit. This was totally insane. We have been traveling to different tracks for the past 10 years and have never experienced such an awful set up. This needs to be corrected. For this reason, I doubt we will ever visit this track again. See more..
  5. 3.5 Florence Speedway (5 reviews)
    - A great night out

I had never seen US Speedway before - I had seen it occasionally on TV, but am not a motor racing aficionado. But we went with relatives who lived nearby (while visiting) and it was great fun. The races are fast, frequent and sometimes brutal on the case, and the audience appreciation bit - where we got to mingle with cars, drivers and teams in the middle - was good, and it was all very affordable. Probably the only downside was the length of time it took them to re-prep the track for the night racing after the fan section. But still well worth a visit. See more..
  6. 5.0 U.S. 60 Dragstrip (1 review)
    - Trip to Drag strip
    Auto Racing Tracks
We trip to visit the drag strip every time we are in the area. This is a 1/4 mile strip but the cars that come are out to win. There has not been a time when we were disappointed. The older cars come to show off as well as the street cars. Yes. Bring your daily driving vehicle in and see what it can do....you might be amazed. Then there is the motorcycles that race. this is an event for the young and the old. some of these drivers have been doing this for over 40 years and some are just getting started. This is a Friday, Saturday and sometimes Sunday event. See more..
