    There doesn't seem to be as many people in this area of the park. We didn't see anyone else here or at the Bear Creek overlook. We took pictures from above then took the hike to below the arch. I am so glad that we did because it is much more majestic from down below and it is a nice .7 mile round trip walk. After hiking to the arch we visited the Bear Creek overlook to catch the sun set and it was a spectacular spot to end the day. See more..

    Our listing is for Summer Shoals Retreat Campground and cabin rentals. We are located on the banks of the Cumberland River on the scenic Summer Shoals. We are surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest deep in the Wild and Scenic River waterway about 11 miles upstream of Cumberland Falls State Park. Bring a canoe, bicycle or a walking stick and come exploring. Our cabins are primative sleep cabins only. They do not have electric or water. Although warm showers are available on site. The cabins sleep 4 but you need your own bedding they are 50.00 a night. Tent camping per night is 12.00 per adult, children 12 and under are free, and pets welcome. Come visit Kentucky there are about 15 waterfall hikes in the National Forest in this area. Cumberland Falls is about a 25 minute drive. See more..

    Really nice Arch at the end of an extra .8 mile walk each way! If your able take the steps down and see the Yahoo Falls and then continue down under the Falls, and then back up the other side to you see the crossroads, take the left one! Keep walking, and you will see the Arch! Beautiful wonder of this beautiful world! See more..
