Katie did a wonderful job providing a great food tour! My husband really enjoyed the soft pretzel, beer, and bourbon tasting. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles stop. It was nice visiting the different local spots and hearing about the history of Covington being from Cleveland. We would highly recommend the Riverside Food Tours to anyone visiting the area! My husband and I did the Gothic Avenue Modified Tour while visiting Mammoth Caves and we really enjoyed it. Unlike some of the other tours, all of the spaces were very open and spacious, so those who might be claustrophobic wouldn’t have a problem with this one! Our tour guide was very informative and knew a lot about the caves and the history. This tour is heavily based on the history of the caves and includes “graffiti” from back in the 1800s by those working on the caves at the time. The tour gets its name from the “Gothic” style of the stalactites resembling old gothic architecture. Definitely one of our favorite tours while visiting. It lasted 2 hours long, and only had about 120 stairs. Roughly 60 or so going into the cave and out and then a short staircase inside. We did get to see Bats! They flew overhead several times but did keep to themselves. Definitely a fun tour. See more..

    Hiking Red River Gorge image
We hiked here for three days and still did not do everything we wanted to do. Scenery, arches, and the hikes are unbelievable. I can say though some of the hikes were some of the most challenging I have ever done especially getting up to Grays Arch and Sky Bridge because I don't do well with narrow bridges with nothing on either side. . The Red River Gorge is a little known place in NW PA but I am telling everyone they need to go and see it. See more..

As a horse lover and equine photographer, I had to visit the mountain horses while I was at Red River Gorge (an easy 30 minute drive away). Laura was a great tour guide and spent every minute of our tour tracking down as many horses as possible for us to see, which I greatly appreciated!! She even brought bags of carrots for us to feed the horses who were curious enough to visit with us. Also loved learning about what the AHP does for these herds. Would definitely recommend checking out their tours, I’ll be back for sure! See more..
