This was such an amazing experience! The guides for my group were great. They informed and entertained the group with historical anecdotes and jokes. They lead you through the mine in a meandering way that leaves you disoriented but amazed they know their way around. The mine has some Easter eggs so keep your eyes open and you may spot some. The lighted Krystal clear kayaks make it a unique experience. The guides use a portable speaker but you have to stay near the guide to best hear the information and jokes. If you are prone to chills, dress in layers and wear good insulated socks and gloves. I highly recommend this experience!See more..
I didn’t have a reservation but it is a good idea to make one if you have a group. The kayak was comfortable. The River was running a little fast and high, so the 3 1/2 hour tour took 2 1/2 hours. (They told us it would) very peaceful and serene views of cliffs, woods, wildlife.See more..
We went cave kayaking here last weekend and had an absolute blast! A very unique adventure for sure! Our guides, Madison and Kenzie, were wonderful! Very personable, funny and informative. Ray and William were very good kayak tour guides. Ray was exceptionally funny and has a great mix of both comedy and knowledge of the mine’s history. Highly recommend the Deluxe Tour with the ‘clear kayaks’. Especially, with the LED’s illumining the water under your boat, you are able to see the huge rainbow trout and historical evidence from when the mine was in service. If this is a couple’s trip, would recommend tandem kayak, as one can paddle, the other can take amazing photos!See more..

We opted on July 3, 2021 to take a 3.5 hour canoe trip with the Green River Canoe and Kayak folks. Such a nice bunch of people and had a great time on the river! They let you spend as much time as you want on your individual trip. We took a canoe and spent about 3.5 hours but you can stay out as late at 6-7 pm. Take some cash with you and tip the guys who take you to and from the river and unload the canoes and kayaks. We didn't think about that and felt bad we were unable to tip them with a debit card. They have a few items for sale in their ticket office if you need water shoes, dry bags, floppy hats, etc.See more..
My son (12) rented a kayak and my daughter (11) and I shared a canoe yesterday. The river was beautiful and we had a great time. The water is very calm - great for newbies, although my son was hoping for a little more white water. The owner is friendly and did a great job of ferrying us over to our drop off spot (we did a five mile run). A fun way to enjoy fall break!See more..

My wife and I went kayaking with our 4 college age children using Mutt E. Waters group. We were extremely happy with the experience! Ted was very courteous and professional. He takes tremendous pride in his service. He was prompt, the equipment was very clean, and he was extremely informative. He gave us all kinds of tips and recommendations with regard to navigating the local waters and made us feel safe and welcome. I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting the area. We pulled into several coves and saw different species of fish and were able to pull the kayaks ashore so that we could float, swim, snack, and relax. Such a nice experience and change of pace. I found this last minute on our road trip and Kristen was an amazing guide! She was very accommodating to our schedule. We met at her farm menagerie and my kids loved seeing all the animals. Off we went down the road to our adventure. We started with our helmets and headlights down a creek looking for fossils. Then into the cave we went to explore. It was nothing like anything we had experienced climbing through cracks, crevices and different levels. We even ate a delicious lunch inside. Great kayak trip! Water levels were good, and it was a quiet and peaceful trip down the Red River. 8 miles, took just over 2 hours to complete, longer if you stop to swim or have a lunch on a sandbar, etc. Some smaller rapids that were enjoyable. Saw a deer mom and 2 babies, cranes, turtles, and ducks. Beautiful scenery along the way with large boulders and a jumping off rock. Weather was perfect, just prior to a huge rainstorm. My husband, son and I really enjoyed these attractions! I would suggest that everyone tries out the bundle at least once! We enjoyed kayaking down the Levisa Fork because the current is calm and not deep in case of any accidents. Zip lining was awesome and had such a beautiful view at each location. Horseback riding was so much fun on the trails with more beautiful scenery! These attractions are great for a day spending time with family, going alone or even for large groups. The staff working each attract were amazing and very patient. It was the first time for all three of us doing each of the attractions, but the staff helped us as needed and made us feel comfortable. After researching multiple companies to rent jet skis from, my husband and I came across Wet N Wild Watersports! It was not only the cheapest we were able to find but had great reviews as well. The process of getting set up with our jet ski was super easy, the guy who showed us how it all worked was really informative and even told us where we may be able to see dolphins, and location was perfect - right near crab island and the harbor! This is a newer company, family-run. The communication by text was excellent. The directions were a little difficult for out-of-towners, but we managed to meet up. The equipment was in working order, as expected. The information about the condition of the water was honest. There were some people who were drinking (not under the control of the company) that tipped over that we helped. Overall, this was relaxing, fun, and we saw many turtles and birds. Also, about half of the 3-4 hours half-day (6 miles) trip was covered in tree shade, so we were not too hot on a very hot day. If you don't have your own kayak, I would recommend this company. There are 3 companies that are liscensed to operate kayaks/canoes on the Green River within Mammoth National Cave. I chose this one based on it being more of a mom/pop place then a commercial endevor with the zip lining and other activities. Not that there is anything wrong with those activities, I just wanted something a little more low key. And boy, did I get it! They welcomed me the minute I drove up. Everyone was very friendly. After a brief safety lesson, we took a van to the drop off point. I was the only one booked for this time slot. They carried the kayak for me, gave me my paddle and sent me on my way.
