    Theaters
    Echo Amphitheater image
We needed a get out and stretch your legs stop and this was the perfect outing regardless of COVID times and not being able to use the facilities. The painted cliffs surrounding the (paved) walk up to the amphitheater do not disappoint as the sun hits different parts and turns the walls various shades. Try your hand at a making an echo or sing a song. It sends shivers down ones spine! Nature at it’s finest... See more..

  6. 4.5 Rockin’ 3M Amphitheater (41 reviews)
    - Western music, beautiful scenery and good food
    Theaters
    Rockin’ 3M Amphitheater image
It's not your typical country music. It's the old time ballads/tunes like Marty Robbins. C&W. The barbecue brisket and buffet of fixings was top notch and the cobbler and ice cream was worthy of second helpings. Michael MM was not only true to his songs and vocals, but he was very interesting in telling the stories about the songs he would sing or the artists who sang them. We will definitely go back next time we're in Red River. Don;t trust your GPS address. Once on Bitter Creek Rd, go all the way to the end and drive slowly. It's further than it looks. See more..

  9. 4.5 Lions Wilderness Park Amphitheater (19 reviews)
    - Great Theater
    Theaters
    Lions Wilderness Park Amphitheater image
Saw Pirates of Penzance 7/21/22. It was fantastic. Lighting and sound were both great, especially for an outdoor theater. The orchestra and cast were top quality even though the ticket price was VERY low. A shout out to one of the maidens (the one holding the nightstick after the constable-pirate fight). Her gestures, body language, and facial expressions were hilarious from "showing a bit of leg" to flirt with Frederick to wiping her hands after a pirate touched them. See more..

    Starmax Deming image
I'm not in town often but love to take my mom to see a movie when I'm here. We always enjoy the comfort of the seats and the quality of the sound system. I'm particularly appreciative of the staff member who helped with a noisy baby (not her fault - she's two) and her family so that we could hear. Kudos all around. We'll be back! See more..
  14. 4.5 El Raton Theatre (10 reviews)
    - An actual experience at the movies!
    Theaters
    El Raton Theatre image
El Raton is one of the few 'atmospheric' theatres left. In stead of watching a movie in a modern 'box' theatre, watch here, and be amazed by the art deco architecture, the castle theme, and of course the Dolby Digital 3D picture and Dolby 7.1 surround sound! While you are there, try some of the best popcorn you'll ever taste, made right before your eyes in a classic Manley Vista-pop popcorn machine. El Raton is a perfect blend of modern technology with classic styling. An actual experience of going to the movies! See more..
  15. 4.5 Odeon Theatre (9 reviews)
    - If you are staying overnight in Tucumcari, catch a movie here!
    Movie Theaters
    Odeon Theatre image
The Odeon theater was a great pastime in Tucumcari. They show a movie most nights, and a matinee on the weekends. It's an old-fashioned theater with just one screen, and a great snack bar with hot dogs and real popped corn. Cash only, no credit cards. Family owned. Show the kids how it used to be. See more..

  17. 3.0 Allen La Cueva 6 Theater (6 reviews)
    - Crappy theater!
    Spent 1-2 hours Movie Theaters
Disappointing! 1. Floors in main area/halls: STICKY! 2. Couldn’t purchase any food: Point of sale was down. 3. The digitals displays indicating which theater our movie was in was inaccurate and staff didn’t know which was which - and unwilling to find out. We were told: sorry, sorry, and sorry. I can understand #2 if the system was screwed up but the other two is a complete lack of give-a-s#!+ See more..

    Ocotillo Performing Arts Center image
We have been to the Ocotillo Performance Arts center for two performances. The first was a Beatles tribute that was very fun. The second was a traveling troupe that performed A Christmas Carol. Very outstanding performance. I missed the Pink Floyd laser light show but I saw that in El Paso. But I would have liked to have seen it here. It’s a very intimate theatre. Comfortable seats and the staff has always been wonderful. Ebenezer Scrooge pictured. Beatles tribute pictured. See more..

Excellent! It would be worth your time to check the Carlsbad Community Theater’s schedule before planning your visit. It was one of the highlights of our trip. See more..

Los Alamos Little Theatre's performance of "Murder at the Lone Elm," directed by Miles LeDoux, was very fun! The audience was drawn into the plot and had to guess who the culprit was in the play. The audience was served ice cream before the play and cake and punch afterwards. It was a nice experience while visiting Los Alamos! See more..

  27. 5.0 Way Way Off Broadway Theater (1 review)
    - Fantastic production of Singing in the rain
    Spent 2-3 hours Theaters
I came to Roswell for the open house at NMMI and by chance saw that there was a show in town in the evening. I did not expect much , but since tickets were really affordable at $18 and I had never seen that musical I took a chance. It was presented at ENMU theater and I got great seats on the second row. Costumes were great, decors also ...and very creative with real water falling on stage (thanks to one of their sponsors), but the best part was the acting and the dancing (there is still a learning curve for the singing part) - The funniest of all was probably Cosmo. This was the end of the 4th season for that troop - they will have 3 shows in 2019 ... so when you come to Roswell, if your trip coincide with one of their production - do not miss it ! I am a demanding spectator from the Bay area..where we have a large number of theaters to choose from - I expected a High school type production - this was Way Way Off Better - See more..
