    As a former librarian myself, I like to visit libraries on my travels, and was impressed with the size of the library and scope of the collection, including an entire special collection of historical importance. The librarian at the front desk was helpful and friendly and made me feel at home. They offer a guest library card for visitors staying in Deming at least a month. See more..

    Galleries of Fine and Fiber Arts This is the oldest, and largest gallery on the Turquoise Trail. We now represent over 100 fine artists and 50 fiber artists. The gallery was started by Mel and Diana Johnson, who met as students at the Art Institute of Chicago. Mel later taught figure drawing there, and architectural drawing at Texas Tech University. Diana has had her one of a kind dresses carried at high end department stores around the country. Today, the gallery is run by four generations of the Johnsons family. See more..
