What an amazing Triple A ballpark and experience! Incredible food and drink selection. Lots for kids to do besides the game. Beautiful building with great site lines. It was obvious to me that the owners and staff of this team are trying to create a super game night atmosphere and they have done it! I have been to lots of ballparks and the Isotopes knocked it out of the park! See more..

My husband and I were at Whittington for the first time last week, and it won't be the last! The staff was very friendly, (Thank you, Iris!), and our cabin accommodation was superb. My husband practiced at one of the pistol ranges. Due to the virus pandemic, the museum, library and cafeteria were closed, which was a disappointment. We bought our meals in Raton, which we then cooked up in the cabin. Scenery is spectacular - also visited the nearby Capulin Volcano National Monument. The NRA should do more to promote this place -- why isn't Whittington mentioned more frequently in its monthly magazines? See more..

The Rio Grande. The hot springs. The J.A. Hodges Municipal pool. What a lovely way to spend part of your day, year round. The pool is heated and it is covered in the winter. Lap swimming, informal water aerobics, and just having fun. The pool has kickboards, noodles, water dumbbells, and life jackets to facilitate your visit. What a great asset to this town!!!
