    We attended an event here recently. The venue is smaller, so none of the seats are “nose-bleed” & there are 2 jumbo screens to assist with viewing. Our only complaint would be with the ventilation. Don’t get me wrong, it was cool, not smoky. But it seemed like they were adding air freshener in with the hvac. Every time the blowers would come on we got blasts of vanilla (so we knew it wasn’t cologne). It wasn’t that it smelled bad, but my husband suffers from bad allergies/asthma & this triggered a bad allergy attack. He wasn’t able to enjoy the show like he should have, which was unfortunate. However, there was a dirty pair of wet men's shorts behind one of the chairs. It was visible so the chair was nit moved. Also the pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable and we had to contact front desk to get pillows and sheets, blankets for it. We also had to call to get blankets for the two beds. I play double deck blackjack and with them having a 10 dollar minimum table and no ante through the week this is the best place to play in the Norman area.     The landing area was poorly marked and difficult to get to. It was pure mud getting out of the kayak and no workers were around to help us or show us where to go. Then when we were ready to leave, people had blocked in our car!! And the lady at the desk said she would have to find the people on the river or we would just have to wait! Thankfully we were able to squeeze by by driving in the woods but all the other cars next to us were going to be in the same boat! Doesn’t seem to be very well managed or organized. Very interesting to learn how pivotal this battle was for the North and how unique the battle was due to the ethnic make up of the troops on both sides. My space had a covered picnic table with a grill, and a fire ring for sitting by the fire - very nice on the evening. A perfect kayak launching beach was about 30 feet from my camp spot. The C loop has bathrooms, no showers. Showers are available in the A and B loops. There's a very large pavilion in the C loop for parties/group activities. Take LONG hoses for water hookups! The water connection required every hose I had with me (4 of varying lengths) and I wouldn't have made it without my inline filter. A very 0peasant stay and I look forward to coming back! My wife and I ate at the Ramona Grill inside tha casino and really enjoyed the food. With using the Cherokee Rewards card, we received a 10% discount. The total for our meal was $11. We headed to the cafe and ordered breakfast. The food was VERY good and tasty. I ordered a pancake and it was as big as the plate. I got 2 scrambled eggs on the side and I couldn't finish all of it. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and eggs. He said his was great too! The price of breakfast for the two of us was only $9.00. We didn't play any games while we were there, so can't say anything about the gambling. If you are looking for good food cheap, this is the place to come. The housing is clean, but adequate and the bunks and beds are not the best, but we are at a campground and it beats tent camping. The bar/grill is good with a large outdoor seating area.
