Choctaw Casino

A small casino and bingo hall, but a fun way to spend an afternoon. The employees were prompt with service and very polite.

Trophy bar and grill
The only reason we are giving a very good experience is because of the Trophy Bar and Grill located inside the casino. Food is good. Waitresses are friendly but we enjoyed the Wednesday night bands that played there. There is no extra charge to listen to the bands play.

Not a very large casino
We tried the Choctaw Indian Gaming Center in McAlester, since we were staying the night. The "Casino" itself is not very large and has basically slot machines, and one blackjack table. If you're used to large casinos with a wide assortment of slot machines and table games, you will probably be a bit disappointed when you visit here. My wife hit a good combination and made some money. They did not have her favorite games, so we left after about an hour, having won enough to pay for our dinner that night with some left over. All in all, we were somewhat disappointed with this casino, and if we travel down to Texas, we'll probably go to the casino in Durant, Ok.
