Fun place for a reunion or large group
This is the 3rd year we have stayed at DiamondHead Resort, and utilized their bunkhouse. This year we doubled in size and had 20 people in two bunkhouses. The housing is clean, but adequate and the bunks and beds are not the best, but we are at a campground and it beats tent camping. The bar/grill is good with a large outdoor seating area. Float trip is fun; organized in getting everyone on the bus and either 6 or 12 miles up the river for drop-off. Store has most items if you forget something.

Great place to rent kayaks
Rented a couple of kayaks with my wife. We took the longer 3-5 hour float. Staff was friendly and were helpful in launching and landing of the kayaks. We did not stay at the resort so I cannot comment on lodging offered there.
