    Oklahoma’s largest outdoor pool is in Gage, Oklahoma. The swimming pool area has cement sides like a normal pool with a sandy bottom like a lake or beach. A crew was drilling for oil in 1917 and they struck mineral water instead which has become a popular swimming attraction. It was once believed the water had therapeutic properties. Open Mon-Fri 1 to 6 pm. The pool area has a slide, diving board, bathrooms & concession stand. I stayed on the lake side because it was less crowded the afternoon I was there. The water was the perfect temperature. Very relaxing and enjoyable. There were families picnicking with in the park, others were canoeing and some playing on pool toys. There were some really tiny minnows swimming around but they didn’t bother me. I would recommend water shoes if you wade or swim in the lake side as there are some larger rocks on the bottom. Great way to beat the heat and spend an afternoon ☀️ ‍♂️ See more..
