Just returned from guys golf trip to Win Star. Both golf courses were in great shape. All staff members were very friendly and helpful. Kory in pro shop was very accommodating with our group of 12 golfers. Earl, the starter, was very fun and made sure we got going on time. Great driving range, numerous ice chest located on course filled with water. We had breakfast before our first 18 and it was very good. We grabbed and quick sandwich before the next 18 and service was very quick. Our group will return. See more..

Played a round to take a break from fishing. First time on the coarse. Very nice views. Course well maintained. Unfortunately the greens had recently been aerated. But staff did well to do good job making them very playable. Very challenging from the Black's. Many narrow chutes and trouble along fairways. Can lose a few balls, literally and figuratively, if not in fairway. Will definitely play agian. See more..

Went to Coffee Creek the other day to have a few brews and enjoy a day on the links with my friends from the retirement home. Those good ol boys in the Coffee Creek Cart Barn were so respectful and friendly! Those were the cleanest carts I've ever experienced! The cart barn boys had no problem retrieving my cart from me after the round and respectfully cleaning out all trash and making sure I had everything. Great job cart barn! Pro shop and restuarant game was also strong, but mainly cart barn See more..

  10. 4.0 Boiling Springs Golf Course (4 reviews)
    - A hidden gem that's challenging and interesting!
Sunday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM Golf Courses
    Boiling Springs Golf Course image
This course is amazing. Hidden gem for sure. The places where you are "meant" to play golf were in fantastic shape; fairways, greens and bunkers. If you get off the intended track (we gave FULL exploration of the nooks and crannies) it's dry, sandy and penalizing. But that's part of the experience. Layout. There are blind tee shots, dog legs to uphill greens, fairway bunkers that make you think about your shot, deep greenside bunkers, and lone fairway trees that give pause to corner cutting. We played two rounds, one from the white and one from the blues. It's a different experience from the blues, particularly the Par 3's. My sons said it was their favorite collection of Par 3's they've played. Bunker sand was raked and soft in every instance. Cannot give high enough praise to the course condition. We did the stay and play with the Candlewood Suites and it was a great couple of days! Highly recommend and we'll be back! See more..
  11. 3.5 White Hawk Golf Club (4 reviews)

    White Hawk Golf Club image
My wife and I decided to come play Whitehawk after hearing about it through Facebook. We love to take “road trips” and play golf. We drove about an hour and a half to get here and played on a Saturday afternoon around 3pm. We finished our round in under 3:45. We had heard the stories good and bad about the course but left feeling impressed. We had never been here before so we hadn’t seen the course when it was in decline. Overall it was a fun course that was reasonably priced. It looks like they are putting a real effort into making improvements, we will definitely come back again See more..

  17. 4.0 Fountainhead Creek Golf Club (2 reviews)
    - Very enjoyable day
    Spent 2-3 hours Golf Courses
Nov, 2020. An interesting par 72 18 hole course to play along hills, the lake, and offering tees blind to the green. Quality carts and helpful staff. Green 11 was missing about 20% of its' turf. I putted from a variety of locations and found the exposed soil the ball sometimes rolled on, wasn't remarkably different from the grassy surfaces. The other Bermuda greens were in fair to good condition. For $20 to $35 a person can be challenged on a worthy course with curving fairways, interesting design, and enjoy the clean Oak tree lined terrain. Facilities appeared nice from the outside but were restricted due to covid concerns. There's a full length driving range and a practice putting area. I'll be back again whenever visiting family nearby. See more..

Played Chandler Golf Club on my way east from Albuquerque. A 9-hole par-36 course. It measures 3,182-yards from the longest of the 3 sets of tees. The course was in pretty good condition, but needs work to make it a quality course. It is OK to play for what they charge. See more..

  23. 4.0 Blackwell Municipal Golf Course (1 review)
    - Fun, small town golf experience
    Golf Courses
After a very long drive the previous day, this was intended to just be a “stretch the legs, get some January swings in” golf experience for an upper Midwesterner whose season is below snow and below zero temps. I ended up being pleasantly surprised by the cost, weather (42 & light breeze), golf quality, and compnany. My surprise started at check in when I was told I could play 18 holes (walking) or all day for the same $10. There is a putting green next to the clubhouse and a full length driving range facility near the clubhouse and adjacent to the 1st fairway. When playing 18, a golfer tees off from the white tees for the front 9 and the blue tees for the back 9. The course plays to 6300 total yards so it is no slouch in distance. I was told that I wasn’t getting the “real“ Oklahoma experience in that the wind was only about 5 - 10 mph versus the usual 20+. The course is relatively flat with some slight elevation changes. The fairways are tree-lined and average in width. There were a couple of holes where target golf was a wise choice. A stray drive may be recoverable in most circumstances. The greens rolled well but were small in size and well sloped. There were no “in the leather” gimmes available here as I learned on a short birdie putt. There is a creek (dry at this time) that runs through the course on 4 holes and a ditch that cuts through another 2 holes. Met up on course with a player who turned out to be great fun and had the best decked out cart I've seen in years complete with excellent tunes to entertain us. All in all it ended up being an good start to a southern golf trip. The course is a decent golf option for this small town. See more..
  24. 5.0 Cimarron National Golf Course (1 review)
    - Great place to golf! They have (4) 18 hole courses!

Worth the drive! They have two separate golf courses that have two great 18 hole courses on each. This truly is golf land! Downtown Guthrie has things to do if you are traveling with those who don't like to golf. Lots of bed and breakfasts (Redstone Country Inn) is great! All very reasonably priced and service is great! Family owned golf course that is very friendly. Greens were great. Highly recommend. See more..
  25. 5.0 Firelake Golf Course (1 review)
    - Good golfing!
Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
Golf course is in good condition even for the end of the winter season. Not an especially difficult course but does have some long holes, especially when the wind is blowing from the north or south, and strategically-placed water hazards and sand traps. Be aware that you cannot bring in outside beverages except for bottled water. Additional restrooms on the course are under construction so be sure to use the ones at the clubhouse, which is a nice facility. See more..
  26. 5.0 Buffalo Rock Golf & Venue (1 review)
    - Make Your Tee-Time Reservation by Phone
Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
This is a beautiful old private-club course, now renamed and public, and in excellent condition. The club pro really goes the extra mile to accommodate your needs. E.g.- pace of play, younger family members, club rentals, carts. Do not try to book online, since the system may tell you they are full or do not accept non-members. Call the Pro Shop. We are in the Stroud/Chandler area at least once a year and have played Chandler, Perkins, and other courses within an hour's drive several times. It can be hard to find a course that will work for a family like ours (we are never quite sure how many of us are actually going to play on any given day, and some of us are real duffers). But this course is only about 20 minutes from Stroud and is one of the more enjoyable ones in that area. It is also just barely on the east side of Cushing if you want to grab a bite at one of the restaurants there. If you are in Stroud, I really recommend that you consider driving to it by going up 99 and turning west on Elm (9th St). Add about 20 minutes if you are coming from Chandler or Prague. See more..
