Linda, Russell, and the rest of the staff at Fish Tales Winery were so warm and welcoming! They made our Broken Bow experience so memorable. The wine tasting was amazing and we liked so many wines, it was hard to choose just one bottle to take home! The atmosphere was calm and inviting, and we sat there all afternoon and just drank wine and chatted by the fireplace. Highly recommend the dip sampler and the peach wine!See more..

We visited this location after a disappointing trip to a winery across the street... “The three stooges,” or something like that. This winery, tucked back from the road and with rustic aesthetic, offered a great sampling. The sommelier was fun and energetic. It was the perfect ending to a vacation away with my love. Came for a tasting. This winery has a wonderful set up. You can order a tasting of 6 different wines from their list, and the tasting is free if you buy a bottle. They have appetizers you can order to enjoy along with the wine. Anna was very sweet and helpful. There were several wines I tasted that I very much enjoyed. Their flavors were varied, the aromas were inviting, and the finishes were complete. For me, this winery offered everything I like in a good tasting, and more. Stopped en route from OKC to St. Louis to stretch our legs and break-up the drive. Blue Coyote is a fun little winery & tasting room. The owner was especially friendly and led us through our short tasting. I had to travel to Stroud OK to tour a waste facility for work. I was looking for something to save the day. Found a couple wineries. Well this one closed the store front in stroud. The sign said visit their vineyard in Sparks 15 miles out of Stroud. After traveling 5 miles down a dirt road I found it closed as they were getting ready to leave for a wine fest. The owner saw us driving around and let us in. Pulled his wines back out and let us taste anything we wanted. Very friendly and helpful. Nice vineyards cute sign and pretty drive. Great selection of sweet and fruit wines. Some unique dry wines. I recommend this stop but call ahead to make sure they are open.See more..

On our way back to OKC from Broken Bow for the weekend we wanted something to break up the drive. We found Rocky Top Winery and set our GPS to lead us there. A bit off the beaten path, we found it and all of its charm! When you pull in there are three cabins that they rent out - proceed up the road just a bit and you will find the tasting room. Small and quaint, their wines are very good for Oklahoma. After tasting several, we each got a glass and sat out on the pond-side patio (there is a 2nd covered patio adjacent to the tasting room as well). The glasses of wine complimented the picnic we packed perfectly. We watched as cows roamed freely and birds flew around. Our 2 year old son had a blast running around and our dog enjoyed laying in the shade (she was not allowed in the tasting room - fyi). The owner, a retired nurse, was very friendly and helped make the experience that much more enjoyable. If you are passing by, or just like to get out and find a new thing to do in OK, Rocky Top Winery is a lovely gem hidden off the beaten path! Cheers!See more..
