    Lovely experience
We stopped in for a day trip. The shop was full of fun wine-related houseware and bar items, and the wine tasting was a delight. The sommelier was very helpful and knowledgeable. She gave us a list of locations that offer their wine in OKC, where we live. We walked away with a varied selection of their reds and white wines (and it was hard to decide on the six we purchased!) Nice visit and we will continue to purchase this Made in Oklahoma product.

    Good Wine but...
Heading north from Dallas, TX we stopped for a break and a wine tasting. The winery had a large Trip Advisor sticker on the front door and really pushed the idea of customers writing a review. I am not a fan of having to pay money to sample wine. If the wine is good we will make a purchase. Most of the wineries we have been to ask about wine likes and dislikes. The sommelier at Whispering Meadows didn't really pay attention. We identified the wines we wanted to sample and she proceeded to provide samples out of order from the sample sheet. We purchased wine and requested the wine be packaged in a box for the car ride home. After acknowledging yes to the box, the sommelier proceeded to package the wine in a bag. Could have been a better experience.
