4.5Marland Estate(183 reviews) - A Bit of Tuscany in northern Oklahoma Sunday: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM Architectural Buildings
This marvelous museum tells the complete story of E.W, Marland, his loving marriages to two women, the second of whom was his first wife's niece and half his age-but they made it work. Lydie was a gracious First Lady, during E.W's term as Governor of Oklahoma. The image offered by this exquisite mansion is of two people who were passionately dedicated to detail, to being elegant hosts to a good many visitors and to making Oklahoma a good place to live.See more..
4.5Boston Avenue Methodist Church(133 reviews) - Must-see for lovers of great architecture! Architectural Buildings • Religious Sites
While I've known about this Scottish Rite Temple for many years, this was my first opportunity to visit this building. It is truly an amazing structure. Approximately 400,000 square feet and nearly a century old, the interior design and furnishings are beyond belief. The organ, with over 3000 pipes, is as old as the building and tuned twice a year. This is one stop that should be on everyone's bucket list.See more..

3.5Phillips 66 Filling Station(11 reviews) - Falling back into disrepair sadly. Old vehicles gone. Spent < 1 hour Historic Sites • Points of Interest & Landmarks • Architectural Buildings
Since our last visit in 2017 the station has changed quite a bit as it has been for sale now since 2019 according to an article I read. The old vehicles are now gone and the entire place may fall back into history if someone doesn't buy it. Sad to see the difference. Attached are two photos showing the present from the recent past, just 4 years ago when the old vehicles were parked in front.See more..

3.5Hogue House(2 reviews) - House made from a Sears Kit Points of Interest & Landmarks • Architectural Buildings This is reported to be the first Sears and Roebuck House, west of the Mississippi. It was delivered by The St. Louis & San Francisco Railroad. Railroad tracks are near the house. It was built in 1912. Look online and you can find the blueprints. The house has remained in the same family since 1912—at least until 1981 when I read a report. I don't know the current ownership status. It is amazing to see the size and designs and intricacies of this house. Clearly people are living in it. None of us could believe this was made from a kit. This is a drive-by as I doubt the owners want visitors. Worth the drive-by for sure.See more..
