Falling back into disrepair sadly. Old vehicles gone.

Since our last visit in 2017 the station has changed quite a bit as it has been for sale now since 2019 according to an article I read. The old vehicles are now gone and the entire place may fall back into history if someone doesn't buy it. Sad to see the difference. Attached are two photos showing the present from the recent past, just 4 years ago when the old vehicles were parked in front.

    good bones of old cottage style gas station
    What is cool? It is a building truly from another era. The cottage style station which has been cleaned up and painted. You can go inside and see how it might have been set up in it's day. It takes some imagination (and some research to old photos) to "see it" in it's prime. What's not cool.. the color choices... why on earth would anyone want the green and blue?? it's very odd... there are no longer any vintage cars or trucks, although, I would not say this should keep you from stopping and checking it out...

    What a cool little place
    Cannot believe that this little place was actuall a gas station. There is hardly room to walk around inside and certainly no room to work on cars. The gas pumps are long gone but this a quaint reminder of the past Rt 66.
