The tour was great!!!
We took the guided tour, which was a good value for the price ($20 each). The tour lasted one hour. Our guide Tom was very knowledgeable. I learned a lot and was surprised to learn that the building included apartments as well as office space. The tour included an explanation of the building's origins and history, an overview of its layout and features, and a visit to one of the executive apartments on the 17th floor and HC Price's private office on the top floor. The displays on the 2nd floor about FLW and the building's design were informative and interesting. The building is beautiful, but like many of Wright's designs it doesn't seem like a really practical arrangement.

A One-of-a-kind Tour!
We highly recommend the expanded tour at The Price Tower. Our guide, an architect himself, was so knowledgeable about the story of FL Wright and the design and building of Price Tower and the Community Center next door. Getting to see the apartment and Mr Price's office and all their furnishings was a delight! The elevators are small, but only rwo at a time were allowed in. Everyone was wearing masks, so we felt very safe. Don't miss this unique tour!
