  2. 4.5 Moore Warren Theatre (399 reviews)
    - Screening Room
Sunday: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters
    Moore Warren Theatre image
We have been going to the Warren Theatre for years. Just reverting the Warren started allowing patrons to select the seats you want. I don't think I'll go back to general admission. The screening rooms have big, power reclining seats, with cup holders and individual tables. There is plenty of room for people to walk in front of you, as they go to their seats. I'd recommend trying the Warren; I'm almost certain that you will not go back to another theatre. See more..

    Brady Theater image
Hubby and I went to see Bush here and the concert was awesome. The theater is old and very interesting to look at inside. We purchased tickets in the seated area, first section of the D seated area. We were pretty close to the stage and ended up standing during the concert. Sound was awesome, we had no trouble seeing the band and stage, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Drink prices were standard. The balcony was closed during this show but it would be neat to go another time and get balcony seats. See more..

    - Great place to visit!

    Coleman Theater image
My family stopped in on July 15th, as we were driving RT 66 this summer. It was such fun. Karen was our tour guide and is a great guide. She knows the history of the theatre, but also the area and encouraged questions. She was very interactive and my two teenagers and 10 yr old all enjoyed it very much! We got to get on stage and listen to the old pipe organ play and she encouraged us to dance a bit- which we did and we all thought it was neat to think of what that would be like in the heyday. This is a beautiful theatre, and the tour was great. It was a donation suggested of $5 per person ( I think) but I'm sure any donation is appreciated, and you just pay as you leave in a little box. It was a delightful little stop on our trip. See more..

My girlfriend & I went to the "Young Elvis" show last Saturday night (Jan 14th). We are both 70+ widowed seniors and the show was like getting in a time machine! Trent Smith was fantastic! To say this kid is good is a total understatement! The food was excellent (as usual), and the staff is always top-notch! Dee Hill is an undiscovered gem, very charismatic and multi-talented! I intend to become a regular patron of this fine establishment. I have no doubt my girlfriend will second that thought! See more..

    - Popcorn is old tasting
    Movie Theaters
I still like the price for movies at this theatre but I'm starting to notice that there is an old smell in the some of the showings. The last three times I've gone, I bought popcorn and it was always cool/not even lukewarm and it had a lot of small broken pieces as though the machine had never been cleaned. this last time broke the camels back- a hair in the bag - so I won't be punishing myself with the popcorn anymore. Bummer! I'll still go to this location because of the proximity to my home and the great movie prices. See more..

    Tower Drive In image
I’ve been wanting to go for so long but they are mostly only open through the summer when it’s so hot outside & they play a lot of kids movies. We lucked out and got a cooler Fall night and two adult movies! Lots of people were sitting in truck beds or on lawn chairs by their vehicles but we chose to sit inside our truck and it was still easy to hear the movie with the windows rolled down in the truck. It’s basically a field with a large screen and a bunch of parking spots. The big screen has a beautiful backdrop of the mountains & the sunset. There were kids just running around having fun and playing football before the movie started. The concession stand area had drinks, candy, popcorn & even real food like cheeseburgers & fries. I had the cheeseburger & fries and it was good & the fries were nice and crispy. See more..

    - Let's all go to the movies!
Sunday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Movie Theaters
Our local movie theater has been closed down for years. Those with the means had to travel at least an hour outside of town to watch a first-run movie. We were thrilled when it was announced that a local family purchased this building and were planning on launching the movie theater again. It opened in the summer of 2017 and is opened for the weekends. They have two showings a night on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and a matinee on Saturday and Sunday. There is one showing on Thursday night. The place only has one screen and shows the same movie starting Friday night through the next Thursday. This place is very family oriented, often polling the public via Facebook whether or not a movie should be shown. They are building a great faith-based business in our local community. The place has been a great boost to our area. I went to see an animated movie with three little ones. Admission is set at one price for everyone ($5 per person) and the concession prices are reasonable. The quality of the sound and screen are great. The seats are still the same ones that have been there for years (no cupholders here) but are still comfortable. Great place to watch the movies! See more..

    - Off the beaten path theater
    Movie Theaters
We tried to take our family & friends group to the movies in Owasso, but the theater time was sold out. Our daughter went online on her phone to find this gem of a theater not a great distance away, and booked the 12 or so of us, which nearly filled an entire row in the theater. As we found our RESERVED seats, we were pleased to find that the seats were reclining style, with electric footrests, cup holders, etc., for EACH seat!!! The theater temperature was very comfortable, sound was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Even though this theater was not near where we planned, we will, I'm SURE, go back when we are back in Oklahoma for a visit. See more..

    Mcalester's Okla Theater image
The OKLA Theatre opened on July 10, 1931, in McAlester, Oklahoma. It was built on the site of the Palace Theatre, which burned down in December of 1930. Wallace Wilkerson, the owner of the theater building, hired architect W. Scott Dunn to build a new theater on a budget of $50,000. Dunn converted the existing cinema walls into a partial atmospheric style theater. It was built for Robb & Rowley Theatres, but the lease was taken over by Howard Hughes’s theater company, Hughes-Franklin Midwest Theatre Corp LTD. The opening day film was “The Man in Possession,” starring Robert Montgomery. Admission prices were 25 cents for the balcony and 35 cents for main level seats. The day after opening, the McAlester News-Capital said that “the theater, in the opinion of patrons, is on a par with the very best found in larger cities.” See more..
