My wife really wanted to visit the PW Mercantile, so on her 50th birthday, we had a road trip from California and had an overnight stopover in Flagstaff, Albuquerque, Amarillo then Pawhuska. We stayed at the Frontier Hotel because the PW Boarding House was fully booked but our room was even special because it has the view of the Mercantile Store. The next day we went early to have our breakfast and was seated by the restaurant hostess (she is unpleasant). The food was good and my wife was ready to shop but she finds it a little bit disappointing because she did not meet her expectations to be wowed. While we were shopping, a nice lady, Mona, greeted us and we had a little chat and took some photos with her. Our overall experience was still great and we did enjoy our time at the Merc, the Lodge, P-town, Charlies and Pawhuska. See more..

This is a wonderful and massive antique mall. I love places like this because it really consolidates the antiquing process down to one large location. However, it's also located right on the main street strip in Jenks with several other antique malls, so it's just a great area to be when antique shopping. This store is my favorite in the area however. It's very well organized, has a very easy grid-like layout, has a wide variety of offerings, and the turnover is fairly quick. So, you can hit this one a few times a month and always find new things. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I do wish it had more in the way of furniture, though it does have some. But it has a treasure trove of everything else. It's my favorite antique mall in the Tulsa Metropolitan area. Well what can you say about our visit? It was interesting, and not quite what we expected. Harley is a character and was playing his guitar when we arrived. I can see how his personality can really appeal to some people. But for us, not so much. He doesn’t have the cleanest mouth (using a lot of M.F.’s) and his joint smells of old cigarettes.
