Zell an der Mosel wurde durch die Weine der Großlage "Zeller Schwarze Katz" weltbekannt und so begrüßt die Katze heute jeden Besucher aus Nah und Fern mit erhobenem Weinglas. See more..

This old castle has also been a youth hostel for many years. There are incredible views down to to the city of Bacharach, the Rhine river and the almost vertical slopes of wine grapes. It is lovely to sit outside with a coffee and cake and enjoy the vistas. See more..

Wir waren auf einem Teilstück des Sagenhafter Waldpfad im Naturdenkmal Elendsklamm zur Fritz-Claus-Hütte zwischen Bruchmühlbach und Martinshöhe wandern. Ein sehr schöner Wanderweg Richtung Fritz-Claus-Hütte und eine sehr schöne Sehenswürdigkeit und Ausflugsziel am rande des Pfälzer Wald. Sehr gerne empfehlen wir das Ausflugsziel für Wanderfreunde weiter. See more..

Ein Lob dem ehemaligen Bürgermeister der Stadt, der weitsichtig genug war ein Deich zu bauen um Hochwasser abzuhalten. Ein bisschen ungeliebt und nicht besonders gepflegt ist der schöne Spazierweg oben drauf. Aber immerhin, man kann im schlendern die Schiffe und die andere Rheinseite beobachten, und Pegelturm mit Wasserstandsanzeige hat mir gut gefallen. See more..

Scenic Walking Areas
Walking from the city centre towards the Rhine you go through beautiful gardens with benches where people can sit and relax. Along the river the gardens are beautifully laid out making for a very pleasant walk. You walk past different art items and of course the Hagen statue where he is throwing the Nibelungen treasure into the river. In the distance you can also see the Nibelungen bridge.
