Spent 1-2 hours Miniature Golf
It's in a pretty little town, with tall trees and its generally quiet. We did hear a little noise from the amusement park in the day time, but nothing at night. The restaurant was terrific for breakfast and dinner. Its all a bit off the beaten path, but worth the drive. We visited friends at the nearby US AFB. We took time to drive around Gondorf and Bitberg and some other little towns in the area. Its a reasonable drive from other interesting towns such as Trier and Cochem and even Luxembourg. See more..

My sister and friends would visit this Mini-golf site at least once a week during the Summer when we lived there. Great place and wonderful town. Very fond memories of living there from 1979-1981. See more..

This was a neat place to stop and rest before continuing our drive. We went in November and the playground was closed. There is a crazy, scary, and very long slide that is available for kids when the park is open. However, we climbed up the steps to the Teufelstisch (Devil's Table) and take pictures of the very interesting rock. Parking is free and, for food, it looks like there is a Biergarten (beer garden) that opens up during the warmer months. Free and dog friendly (although quite a few stairs to get there.) Bei Dauerregen hatte uns der Weg zu Minigolf & Bistro geführt, da wir das Schild OPEN entdeckten. An Minigolfspielen war aufgrund des Wetters nicht zu denken. Die freundlichen Inhaber hatten stabile fest verankerte Pavillons geschaffen, die einerseits vor den Unbillen des Wetters schützten und andererseits gemütliche Plätze zum Verweilen boten. Wir gönnten uns Prüm's Secco und Weinschorlen. Leckerer Kuchen versöhnte uns vorerst mit dem Dauerregen. Bei besserem Wetter werden wir bestimmt wiederkommen. See more..

Miniature Golf
Ich kenne die Minigolfanlage unterhalb der Burgruine Altwied schon seit Kindertagen und und war in meinem Leben viele Male dort.
Mittlerweile ist die Anlage - wie ich auch - ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen und nur „einigermaßen in Schuss halten“ langt irgendwie nicht mehr.
Hier müsste mal wieder Geld in die Hand genommen werden, um die Anlage fit für die nächsten Jahre zu machen.
Verdient hätte sie es allemal!

Wir waren auf der Minigolfanlage, Am Schwallborn in Rodalben Minigolf spielen. Die Anlage liegt an der L497 außerhalb von Rodalben. Die sehr schöne und gepfegte Anlage ist ein sehr gutes Ausflugsziel für Familien mit Kinder in der Region. Deshalb empfehlen wir dieses Ausflugsziel klar weiter. See more..
