   We spent a good hour here, looking at all the beautiful and interesting cacti, the gemstones they sell and the animals that were located behind the greenhouses. There's also a café there that sells beverages and cakes. I wouldn't make it my main location goal for the day but we started our day here and then went on to visit some old fortresses in the area, and for that it was perfect. See more..

   Der botanische Garten gleicht eher einem großen Park, wo es überall grünt und blüht. Hier findet man verschiedene alte Baumbestände die den Garten idyllisch erscheinen lassen. Vereinzelt findet man mal ein Grab, welches aber keinem Friedhof im herkömmlichen Sinne ähnelt. In jedem Fall einen Besuch wert, wenn man mal raus aus der Stadt möchte!

    Lived in Schmitshaursen just down from the Rosengartchen on Am Steinhubel in 1986. One of the few American Air Force families that lived there at the time.     On a roadtrip booked on short notice. Hotel is from +\- 1970’s? It is clean but more pension like. No restaurant, safe fridge, aircon. Breakfast is very basic.     Auf unserer Wandertour unter Einhaltung der Abstandsregeln kamen wir am Keltengarten in Steinbach vorbei. Wegen der Coronakrise hat der Nauchbau eines Keltendorf geschlossen.
