This is a cute break for nature that was perfect for a little relaxation and a cool-off and fresh drink for my Labrador. The cave is neat, but the little bridges and waterfalls make it an alluring spot to hang out and relax. See more..

Spent 1-2 hours Caverns & Caves
In the area you will see a layer of lightgray material that is tens of meters high. You are looking at volcanic ash deposits that were thrown around by volcanic activity at Maria Laach. Thanks to erosion (some rivulets washing a way through this layer?) there are some very atmospheric tunnels created. This makes for a short but highly evocative walk. Do have a close look at the constitution of the volcanic layer and notice all the different sizes of stone in it. See more..

Spent 1-2 hours Caverns & Caves • Geologic Formations
Wer in der Gegend wohnt kann sich das mal anschauen von Erzenhausen aus muss man etwa 10 Minuten bergauf gehen und dann ist es auch ausgeschildert oder man kann einheimische Fragen die helfen einem bestimmt weiter.
Die Tropfsteinhöhle an sich hat mich schon positiv überrascht. Man konnte bis zu 20 Meter hinein gehen und besonders im Sommer ist es mal eine kühle Abwechslung. Im Winter das heißt ab etwa Oktober wird die Tropfsteinhöhle geschlossen da sich dort Fledermäuse aufhalten. See more..
