We decided to not drive our own car and was thoroughly pleased with our decision. Apex are based in the centre of Nurburg, had a great check-in process and the whole experience was awesome. We were driven by Tim Morley and he was perfect. After a brief chat on the way to the circuit, we were off! 10 minutes of the closest I'll ever be to a professional racing driver followed. Over in a flash, but long enough to get completely immersed in Tim's world. The BMW M3 meant up to 3 passengers could be included. Having rented with friends at other places, I firmly believe this is one of the best. I am by no means a Nurburg expert but have done plenty of track days in my own car to know what is safe and what isn't. Cars were all well set up with new parts, cars weren't patched back together accident damaged or high mileage second hand 330i's that had had a cage and some suspension fitted. All new purpose built machines. This shows with the knowledge and care of the employees, the mandatory safety briefs (which others didn't even offer), the set up of the cars etc. Long and short, they're a good well run company which do good cars to have a good time in. I would recommend. Also, don't grumble at a Suzuki Swift, they're not half bad!See more..

My boyfriend and I really wanted to go on a kanu trip, with our dog. She has never been in one and is a big scaredy cat for things and situations she doesn't know. However, even she enjoyed the 3.5 hours we got to spend in and on the water. The wonderful scenery, the calm, cooling, translucent water, the hot sun and the great company made this a perfect day. We had the option of one persoon going back with the pick-up van after the trip (that person could get the car and drive back to collect the stay behinders). We opted to walk back, from Minden to Altschmiede. it was a magical walk and a beautiful route, but a bit long especially for our doggy. Would recommend but bring lots of water and take breaks in the shade or in the water.See more..

Sven and his team are excellent. I went with my wife. There was a school group and a corporate group with us. One might think this is chaos. However, it was perfect. I am a passionate paddler with many years of experience. My wife had zero experience with this format of tour, and was not at all enthusiastic. She was a little scared of the Rhein having grown up in Bingen. However, once we saw how knowledgeable Sven and his team are, that all changed. This was a perfect tour and the right amount of fun vs exercise. Now I hope when we get home, we can finally pull my boat out of storage and start using it together. I encourage anyone who is thinking about a rafting tour on the Rhein to contact Sven. He is now my #1 river guide in the region.See more..
