    Oz Winery image
I was so excited to go here after seeing it listed on trip advisor. I am not a big wine connoisseur so I am easy to please. The gal that helped us was fun and bubbly and very knowledgeable. They had so many wines to choose from which made it hard so we ended up buying quite a bit. I just loved how the wines were wizard of oz themed and the labels are so cool. Not sure i will be able to part with the bottles after they are empty. If I am ever in the area I will definitely go back! See more..

My wife and I loved this place. They have a larger variety of wines and hard ciders than I expected from sweet all the way to dry wines. They also have some unique flavors as well. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the wines and treated us fantastically. Very reasonably priced as well. We sampled five wines for $6.00. Prices on the bottles range from $10 to $29ish. My wife and I got two bottles of unique wines to take home. I recommend Stone Pillar and we will definitely be back. See more..

This is my second time to visit the winery. The first time was for an event in the barn and it was gorgeous. Loved it. My second visit was with friends and it was at the normal building for the winery. I was not a big fan. They should move the normal wine business to the barn. It is way more upscale and JOCO. They also do not allow you to bring your own food. Why does it matter? Other wineries around the area allow this and it just makes me not want to go back. They also don't have paved parking or side walks so don't wear nice shoes since you will be walking in the grass. The one thing I loved was sitting down by the lake on the HUGE lawn chairs. They are so big that they can fit 3 people. LOVED this!!!! We also took some music with us and hung out for about 2 hours. I think this winery has potential but they need to up their game. This could be an amazing hidden gem with little updates. See more..

    - Nice Winery

    Wyldewood Cellars Winery image
I have stopped here several times and have always enjoyed it. They limit you to tasting five wines, but I’m sure if they didn’t, they’d just be giving it all away. I found three wines I liked and bought. I purchased the Elderberry Spice, which is a fruit wine with spices and made me want to sing “Let It snow!” I also tried the Lady Pearl, which is a light strawberry moscato sans bubbles. Actually I should have bought more than 2 bottles - oh well, next time. Finally I tried the Red Dirt Rose which is currently packaged normally and also as Rudolph Rose for the holiday season. They also have a cute gift shop. See more..

White Tail Run Winery & Vineyard image
White Tail Run Winery & Vineyard was started in 2003 by Dan Fuller with the help of his wife Nancy, son Dusty, daughter-in-law Jennifer and daughter Christy. Dan had just retired and decided to grow grapes to keep him busy in his retirement. After growing grapes for a couple of years Dan decided to try his hand at winemaking. The first wine he made was from the Seyval grape. He entered the wine into a competition for amateurs and won a bronze. After the success of that first wine competition he started to make plans with his family to start the winery and vineyard full time. We now have 5 acres of vines with 3 different varieties of grapes. See more..

We went on a Sunday afternoon and had Greg all to ourselves. Greg is a great host. He talked to us before pouring any wine and then I believe he actually customized our tasting experience to what we liked and how we responded to the first wines we tasted. There are a number of wines that you can try and buy so think about what you like. Also, make good notes and stick with your initial favorites. The artwork on a number of the bottles is truly amazing and are done by local artists. I plan to keep the Jazzman (2013 St. Vincent) bottle displayed after drinking it. Our favorites today (need to come back to explore and find new ones) are: Matrot (2012 Norton) Jazzman (2013 St. Vincent) Mandolin (St. Vincent) Ludmila What a great afternoon. Thank you Greg for sharing your passion! See more..

This winery is stuck way back in the boonies, but once you get there you are greeted with very friendly people. The display room is nicely decorated and you can sample all the wines available. 20. 4.5 Wyldewood Cellars (6 reviews)
    - Lots of Very Good Wines
    Wineries & Vineyards
    Wyldewood Cellars image
We stopped on a whim because we are not wine connoisseurs, but enjoy good wine. We were not disappointed. The Lady who offered samples of many wines was very knowledgeable of her wines and made some recommendations based on a few questions. She was amazingly good at her recommendations. Intending to buy 4 bottles of wine to fill a case we had purchased at another winery, we ended up buying almost another case of wine. They feature many variations of Elderberry wine, Elderberry wine blends, and an Elderberry mead, but have a wide selection of other wines. Most of their wines are Sweet or Semi-Sweet. Dry wines don't seem to sell very well in the area so their selection of dry wines are a bit limited. NOTE: Because of a recent fire, Wyldewood Cellars is operating from a small rented building across the road from their old location. See more..
  21. 5.0 Rosewood Winery (4 reviews)
    - What a wonderful idea!
    Spent < 1 hour Wineries & Vineyards
We saw the brochure for this at the Page, where we ate dinner, and were intrigued. The brochure listed two places and said they were open until 8 pm. We went to the place in Pawnee Rock and it seemed like nobody was there so I called and left a message and we walked around and took pictures of the beatiful property with all the statues and beautiful landscaping. The man came out of the house and told us that they were a reservation only operation, which confused us because it was not identified in that way on the brochure and he was very kind to take us to the winery and give us samples anyway. We bought 2 bottles. All of the samples were very tasty. See more..
  22. 4.5 Aubrey Vineyards (3 reviews)
    - Drinks after hiking
    Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM Spent 1-2 hours Wineries & Vineyards
First time visiting the Vineyard location where you drive past the lines. Very cool!! Tasting Room looks California-style theme, but indoor/outdoor seating was pleasant and relaxing. Staff very friendly! Their Concord is less sugar and more Concord tasting, which is how a true Concord should be. Their Honey wine (Mead), couldn't taste the honey and too much alcohol for my wife and I. We will return!! My wife is a sweet/semi-sweet and I'm dry, but would recommend the semi-sweet for this winery! See more..

Husband and I drive by it all the time but never took the time to stop by because we were always had somewhere to be. We took a day and drove out there and we are glad we did. You might not think your in the right place when you drive in because it looks more like a home/farm, which the home is next to the tasting room. The tastings cost $8 and you get to keep the glass. There is indoor/outdoor seating and they have coloring books laid out for kids. The owners are very nice and friendly. If you have a wine list tour, go here. They also have a list of more wineries to try. If you l like sweet and fruit wine, try the apple pear and blackberry. See more..
