4.5Lake Shawnee(239 reviews) - RV in the Christmas Lights!! Sunday: 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM Bodies of Water • Playgrounds
Perfect spot for winter camping. What a great location. In the winter the RV camping spots are in the middle of the TARC drive through Christmas light show. It was wonderful and not noisy. I enjoyed walking the lights in the evening. It might be a little busier on the weekend, but my Wednesday night stay was excellent. And the price is right!!! Power only in the winter, no restroom or shower but I saw that on the website and was prepared.See more..

4.5High Park(31 reviews) - Great for fishing and walking Spent 1-2 hours Parks • Playgrounds
Just took the grandkids to the park for some fishing and playing on the playground equipment. This was the first time fishing for one of them and they did catch a catfish. It was a great time for all of us. I have been there many times for Derby events, fishing, walking on the trails, taking brush to the brush drop off site or just enjoying the playgrounds with the grandkids. The park is very well maintained and just a great place to take some time off. Also great for sporting events as well as facilities for family reunions..See more..
4.5South Park(31 reviews) - The flowers are worth the visit.Free summer concerts are awesome.Playground for kids. Parks • Gardens • Playgrounds
I always feel safe and "at home" in this park. Nice to see kids on the playground, a great display of flowers, top-notch City Band Concerts in the summer (Free!) and plenty of special events that bring the town folks together. I also patronize a small but sufficient seasonal Farmer's Market here on Tuesday afternoons featuring local produce and vendors.See more..

5.0King Park(7 reviews) - Picnics and Children's Activities Parks • Playgrounds
One of the nicest municipal parks that I have visited. Vintage and Modern playground equipment at several locations in the park. They also have a Spray Park, available in the summer, for the children and their furry friends. The adults can mist off there too if it's to their liking. There is a Sand Volley Ball Court, Horseshoe Pits, and plenty of Grills for having a family cook-out. There is a store nearby that has everything you'd need to cook out.See more..
4.5The Hollow Park(3 reviews) - Beautiful Little Park Spent < 1 hour Parks • Playgrounds
Hollow Park is a cute little park right in downtown Sedan. With beautiful gardens, a gazebo and a small waterfall, it's hard to believe this area used to be a garbage dump. We stopped here to see Hollow Falls. A short boardwalk leads to a view of the small falls in two sections. The gardens around the park are very pretty and we even saw a monarch butterfly. The Sedan Chamber of commerce is located in the one room schoolhouse at the parking area. Overall, a beautiful little park and worth a stop if visiting Sedan.See more..

5.0Kiwanis Park(1 review) - My kids always loved this park! Parks • Playgrounds The big dinosaur/dragon slide is always a hit. There are bathrooms and lots of different things for kids to do.See more..
Took our granddaughter here one afternoon. Of course, it was crowded which was expected but my biggest complaint there was only one small place to get out of the sun. Staff was unfriendly. They made you get out of the water for a 15-minute break, and you could not bring in any pool noodles, toys, or inflatables. My granddaughter had a good time, but I did not.See more..
