    April, her husband, and a few of their many kids helped resurrect an old building above her retail store into two apartments. The project took four years and me and my two colleagues were the recipients of their excellent work. I had stayed the week before at the casino not too far away and it was not for me. As I asked around the hospital where I was consulting, a few told me about April's new Air B&B called More Than Lemons. After finding out it would house all three of us, we made the trek back to Holton from KC. What a great location and the apartments were done very nicely. Nothing cheap or shawdy about this place. Although we didn't use it, the larger room had a kitchen we could have used. They also have a grill and a spacious rooftop deck. We used it as a staging area for our company's fantasy football draft. The absolutely only negative thing I could say is that there are a pretty steep set of stairs to get up to the apartments. This wasn't a problem for us as two of us were in good shape. Only worried if you have someone elderly. If you are out in that neck of the woods, for whatever reason, this would be the place to stay. Thank you April for the awesome hospitality!! See more..
