5.0St. Fidelis Church(71 reviews) - The Basilica of St. Fidelis - Not to be Missed! Saturday: Religious Sites
As others have said, the church is open. You must go inside. It is simply beautiful and such a surprise out in the middle of the Kansas plains. It is a huge Romanesque style church is a little tiny town. Wonderfully restored. A brochure near the church entrance tells the entire story and history of the church. The sign on the interstate is easy to miss, but the twin towers are easily visible. It is just a couple of minutes off I-70 and cannot be missed. We will definitely stop again the next time we are in the area.See more..

5.0Kansas City Missouri Temple(7 reviews) - Peaceful Visit on a Sunday Afternoon Architectural Buildings • Religious Sites
We had spare time in Kansas City before catching our delayed flight out, and decided to take a drive to see the Kansas City LDS Temple. It was, of course, closed, but we walked around the grounds and took pictures. It is a beautiful and peaceful place in a very nice neighborhood. While only LDS (Mormon") faithful can enter into the building, the building and grounds are very beautiful and well cared for. There is a very peaceful feeling there and a strong spirit of our Heavenly Father. Mormon or not, I would recommend you have a look. It was time well spent. My answers to the optional questions at the end of this review would be different if I were going to a temple session, but I am marking them as if I were a tourist.See more..

4.0Saint Joseph Church(1 review) - This is a beautifully maintained Piece of History Spent < 1 hour Religious Sites • Churches & Cathedrals
I love old churches. They are always so interesting to look at .. the details, the architecture, the art and this is not exception. Beautifully maintained Building with some interesting history to it. They do leave the building open at least during the day and evening so you may walk in. If you like a bit of history and some interesting things to see ... I wouldn't hesitate to take a stop here ... stretch the legs and go for a wander.See more..
5.0Historical Church(1 review) - lovely setting for a wedding!! Speciality Museums • Religious Sites Atwood, is the typical small town, located as the crow flys 225 miles straight east from Denver. This small church is located next to the Beamgard Dodge dealership right on main street. It was moved into town several years ago, and a lot of the churches have contributed different items, which are on display. Very unique.See more..
