    Had a blast at the Hollywood Casino 400 NASCAR race in September 2022. This was my first NASCAR race in person after years of watching local short-track racing. There isn't a bad seat in the house here. For really only hosting two races a year, the facilities were spotless, and the concessions were spread out and plentiful. I would come back to watch a race here in a heartbeat, however I am kicking myself for not taking advantage of the track's lenient carry-in policy. It's $5 for a bottle of water or soda, $10+ for a burger or chicken tenders, $9+ for a beer, etc. Do yourself a favor and carry in a small cooler with refreshments and a couple sandwiches! See more..

    "The Heart of American Motorsports" Heartland Park Topeka stands out as one of the world's finest, multi-purpose racing and entertainment destinations. Located on the south side of Topeka, KS, the facility covers approximately 750 acres and provides ample room for its many racing and motorsports venues. The facility features a championship, NHRA-sanctioned 1/4-mile drag strip, four-level sponsor-suite tower, a 2.5-mile road course with four different configurations, a 3/8-mile banked ​clay oval, a 22-acre asphalt pad for autocross and drift events. A world class ​motocross track was also added to the complex in 2016.     This was our first dirt track racing. We stopped here on the way to Yellowstone. I was pretty cheap to get in, I think it cost us $20 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Parking is in the grass. I think the racing was about 3 hours long. See more..
