Have taken motorcoach groups here on several occassions. It is a small intimate theater...and that is what makes it so charming. Well..that and the excellent performances they always have on stage. Have never seen a bad show here and it seems like each one is better than the last one....it just keeps getting better and better!See more..

This was our first time to attend Pickin' on the Plains festival. We loved the Bluegrass music, all the people involved with the production, the bands, visiting with people and making new friends. Bluegrass people are special! Love to be around them. Most always they treat you like family...or better. A good choice of food was available on the grounds should you get hungry! 5.0Paola Community Center(2 reviews) - Family Fun Theatre & Performances I love the Paola Community Center. We have had family functions there ... and we have a huge family. There is a nice kitchen with a stove, ovens, and counter space. We have decorated the tables during holidays and really enjoyed ourselves. I have taught at the summer workshops for children in the summers past and I have spent countless hours at plays, recitals, and movie nights.... the amenities are lovely. The architecture is beautiful. Well work the experience.See more..

The Bowlus Fine Arts Center has the, "Best Leg Room," in Kansas while the audience enjoys a variety of performances year round on their Main Stage. Offering live music & family shows, live theatre & dance performances and concerts by the Iola Area Symphony Orchestra. Also housed within it's walls is the Mary Martin Art Gallery with interchanging artists exhibiting their art. The Creitz Recital Hall hosts smaller concerts & is a great place to host smaller functions. We also have two other rooms available for meeting space as well.See more..
