The parking lot was closed when we arrived, it is apparently only open on the weekends right now, but we parked with BBC a few other cars in front of the gate. It really is a neat old abandoned fort with a few buildings that you can explore. If you’re on the island, you may as well stop by. There are a couple “beaches” there, but you wouldn’t want to swim. 3.5Pheasant Lane Mall(64 reviews) - A pleasant shopping experience Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM Shopping Malls
This is a good shopping center in Nashua, NH. This is situated right on the NH side of the NH/MA border, about 36 miles from Boston. It a Simon mall – two levels construction. The shopping here is Tax Free. Going to this mall is an enjoyment while shopping and eating. . Almost everything the shopper thinks is available here – there is Target, Macy’s, Apple Store, sports stores, a many stores for clothes, electronics, a food court, etc. The food court has Chinese options, Burger Kings, Taco Bell. There is Auntie Anne’s, Star Bucks, Subway. There is a lot of empty space inside where some arrangement for visitor’s relaxation could be arrangement. Our visit was for purchase of Apple I-Phone and few other items like clothing and fashion wear. Good visiting this mall for a pleasant shopping experience.See more..
3.5Greenfield State Park NH(50 reviews) - Nice park, but not if you are travelling/camping with a dog. State Parks
Campsites were nice. But, although they do allow dogs, you are not even permitted to drive to the parking lot for the lake with your dog in the car. Neither are you permitted to leave your dog inside your camper. There is a trail that you are permitted to use with your dog. Otherwise you are permitted to remain at your campsite with your dog. Would not recommend, or stay again.See more..
3.0Fever and Boutique(49 reviews) - Great night out in Epsom! Bars & Clubs • Dance Clubs & Discos 4* fantastic venue and DJs but had to queue for 30 mins before we could get in.... Only marking down for that!See more..
I should start by saying that I personally do not scare easily so that is why I say that it was fun and not scary! I jumped/screamed once, however my sister who I would say is not scared super easily but is definitely more on edge than me was screaming, jumping, clinging to my arm and hiding her face on several occasions throughout most of the exhibits if you will. I found it to be very enjoyable. I had a good time and would definitely do it again. I would say though, to get the most out of the hay ride, I would suggest not sitting near the front. We sat there and saw everything and everyone coming that would scare the rest of the riders.See more..
We stopped here before our murder mystery show. We had some nachos, flat bread pizzas and drinks. No one was there it was nice and quiet. The drinks were good and a lot of choices. I liked the decorations as well. The food was very good for the price. We also stopped back in after the show for some drinks, it was a lot busier but fast service.See more..
3.0Regal Fox Run Stadium 15(30 reviews) - They make you pick your seats! Sunday: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Spent 2-3 hours Theatre & Performances
We were visiting from out of state and decided an evening movie with the kids might be nice. The theater was extremely crowded- get there early to get seats. Many shows were sold out and this theater makes you pick your seats prior to going in. The chairs were pretty fancy - but not worth the expense. An evening out for 4 ...80$. I say rent a redbox for 2$ and make some popcorn at home. See more..
3.5Cinemagic(27 reviews) - Movie & A Beer Spent 2-3 hours Movie Theaters
Cinemagic is a wholesome local movie theater where you can enjoy a super casual night out. Prices are reasonable. However, food while expensive is just OK. The stadium style seating provides comfort but do not expect the fully reclining uber plush seating as in other theaters. Cinemagic has multiple screens which make it ideal for families whose members have diverse tastes in movies. I like Cinemagic because it is a good place to relax and have a beer while watching a newly released film. See more..

3.5Stonyfield Farm(18 reviews) - Miss the visitor's center Sunday: Speciality & Gift Shops As a Londonderry, NH resident, I used to shop at the visitor center store a minimum of weekly. Loved getting my fresh organic milk and yogurts and at such a variety that I still can not find in the grocery store. Unfortunately as of August 28, 2015 the visitor center closed its doors for good as they combined to office locations into one. More information on the visitor center closing can be found on Stonyfield's own website, blog entry: when-one-door-closes-a-community-opens This closing makes Stonyfield an attraction for Trip Advisor no longer. I would love to see the visitor center reopen -- The grocery store has such horrid stock limitations having to give shelf space to all those other brands. I miss being able to get my variety.See more..
3.5The Brook(14 reviews) - The Brppks renaissance Sunday: 9:00 AM - 12:00 AM Bars & Clubs • Casinos

3.5Breakfast Hill Golf Club(13 reviews) - Decent course, lousy rental club Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses
I played a round while I was on a trip to this area, course conditions was pretty good, have a lot of trees and water hazards. I paid $25 for a rental set of clubs - it was a beat up Topflite set. This was the worst golf club set I ever played - especially driver and putter. Well the good news is I was having fun playing golf. It could be much better See more..
3.5Belmont Firearms & Range(12 reviews) - Fun with Guns Sunday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Shooting Ranges This was the first time I have "rented" guns to go shooting :) and while I do own firearms it was "neat" to go and try out new items. I would like to do this more often but the price tag is a bit steep, so that will limit my time. Since we were on Vacation the cost was not a real factor. I am sure I will return at some point See more..
Inland state park offers picnic areas and swimming.See more..
3.5Newport Golf Club(10 reviews) - 4 go for coffee. Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses Haven’t been here in a while & fancied a cuppa before a walk along the beach. We arrived too late for anything to eat but grabbed a cuppa & sat next to the window with great views across the golf course & bay. On a nice weather day it’s great to sit outside. After we finished we went for a great walk along the beach.See more..
3.5Candia Vineyards(10 reviews) - Best red wine I've tasted Wineries & Vineyards
We were driving through NH on our way to Maine and did a random search for wineries. Candia Vineyards came up and I called to schedule a visit…for ten minutes later. While the owner seemed a bit irritated, he accommodated us just fine. When we arrived I realized why the irritation. It's not a typical winery but a private home w vineyard surrounding it. In the front yard under a tree was a pop up tent w a table and a cooler. The owner was very kind and entertained our many, wine-ignorant questions. I fell in love w the Frontenac and am looking forward to going back to get more soon. See more..
3.5Opechee Park Cove Beach & Opechee Point Beach(10 reviews) - Great for Softball Beaches • Parks Can't say much else about the facility other than it had 4 very nice softball fields. Was there with our team for a weekend tournament and played all of our games there. Walked down to the beach once during a break. It looked nice. There was plenty of parking at the nearby school also.See more..
3.0Wildcat Falls Park and Conservation Area(10 reviews) - Nice trail and waterfall Spent 1-2 hours Points of Interest & Landmarks • Historic Walking Areas • Scenic Walking Areas
Well-maintained trail, pretty easy walk to the falls. Free map at the entrance which came in handy as there are multiple trails and it could be easy to get turned around.See more..
3.5Amherst Country Club & Ponemah Green Family Golf Center(9 reviews) - Great course at a great price Golf Courses I'm not a great golfer so finding a nice course that won't charge me an arm and a leg is difficult. The Amherst Country Club is just that, a great place to golf at an affordable price. I highly recommend it. I've been later in the day both on the weekend and the week day and the pace is good, never feels like I'm being crowded. A good place to go with friends.See more..
3.0Whaleback Ski Area(9 reviews) - Great little mountain Sunday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Ski & Snowboard Areas Small ski area that offers both alpine skiing and snowboarding, at a base elevation of 1,100 and summit elevation of 1,800 feet.See more..
3.5Temple Mountain(9 reviews) - Fun Hike Ski & Snowboard Areas

3.0Granite Fields Golf Club(8 reviews) - An absolute senior golfer's mecca Spent More than 3 hours Golf Courses A seniors golfer's mecca ... why ... because Mon-Fri the rate with cart is $30. This golf course is average at best, however that said, it has several tees for all abilities, some very interesting holes, smooth greens, ample fairways, with some target golf mixed in. It's a relatively new course, so conditions run hard, but very playable. It just needs to mature, but for the above rate .... just shut up, play and enjoy the day.See more..
This site is worthy of a stop to read about Hannah Duston who holds a most interesting life story and adventure. See more..
3.0Veterans Memorial Park(8 reviews) - Beautiful area Spent < 1 hour Monuments & Statues • Fountains
Peaceful place to reflect. Very pretty and a short walk from the hotel. Quiet spaces are always nice.See more..
3.5The Cloud Palace(7 reviews) - Fun, chill, and cozy! Sunday: 6:00 PM - 12:30 AM Bars & Clubs My husband and I are Americans who live in the Middle East. Shisha is a big thing there. So it's nice to be able to have a place to come to when we're back in the USA (visiting family and friends). The Cloud Palace reminds me of a shisha "Cheers" bar-- a fun, friendly place where you get to know people and where they know you and appreciate your business. The atmosphere is chill. The music is upbeat, lively, etc., but not so vulgar that I feel uncomfortable being there. (A BIG difference from Elixir Hookah Lounge in Methuen!!!) The prices are fair, the service is good, the drinks are good, and the shisha is well-made. A great place to relax and watch sports or to hang out with friends. Don't miss $3 Thursdays where $3 well drinks are served. There's also a DJ on Thursdays and belly dancing on Fridays.See more..
3.5The Overlook Golf Club(7 reviews) - Terrible Customer Service Spent 2-3 hours Golf Courses Guy in proshop with goatee has the worst customer service I have ever seen and I am a graduate of the Golf Academy of America. He stares at you when you walk in, no greeting then gets upset when you don't say anything to him. He should not be in the golf industry, a complete and utter moron who lacks any compassion or a sense of how to communicate, if you don't have social skills, do not work in a social environment. I like the course, its fun, but I won't go back because of the idiot in the proshop, because since you clearly do not know, most golfers make their mind up on if they are coming back after the proshop experience, usually within the first 30 mins of being on the property. Shame !See more..
3.5Regal Cinema(7 reviews) - Best Way to Watch a Movie...BUT Movie Theaters I have been to at least a dozen movies here at Hooksett's Regal Cinema. The recliners are awesome, they are super comfortable and roomy. The tickets can be a bit pricey but with the comfort of the seats it is so worth the added expense. The price of a small bag of popcorn (the bag is the same size as a brown paper lunch bag) was $7. My issue with this theater was while I was watching a suspense movie, we could hear the music VERY clearly of Pirates of the Caribbean being played in the theater next to ours.See more..
3.0Endicott Rock State Historic Site(7 reviews) - It's cool for history people Monuments & Statues It'll take 10 minutes to check this out. It's a rock under a cage with a statue on top of it. The rock was originally an island in the middle of this channel. Now it's been merged with the land and is a park. Checking out the inscriptions on the rock is really neat. Lots of people get their photo taken next to it in the same pose as the indian.See more..
3.5America's Credit Union Museum(7 reviews) - Credit Union members would enjoy this museum Sunday: 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM Speciality Museums As someone who has been involved with credit unions for many years, I wanted to visit the American Credit Union Museum while in Manchester. We found the location with the aid of our Garmin in a picturesque section of the town. The entrance to the museum is actually on the side street and we had to ring the bell to enter. Once inside, the museum's Executive Director Stephanie took us on a tour. While I knew some credit union history, I was pleased to learn many details that were new to me. There really is an interesting story here and the former mansion is a perfect place to house the museum.See more..
3.5Sanborn’s Fine Candies(6 reviews) - No longer open Sunday: 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Spent < 1 hour Speciality & Gift Shops Their candy was delicious but now they have closed. They had a great variety and all was very tasty.See more..

3.0Logs of Fun(6 reviews) - Need updating Amusement & Theme Parks We went and had fun. View of lake with boats coming in and out is nice. I think the course need some work though. Had some cracks in the concrete and ripped green top (only some holes, not all of them). Most likely from harse New Hampshire winters.See more..
I am hesitant to write this review because I like it just the way it is. This place is run by the us army corps of engineers and is free to use (unless you'd like to rent a shelter). It is a great place to kayak, canoe, hike or swim. While I am sure there are creepy crawly things I've never had a problem except for some peaty flies. The rangers are great. Recommend talking to them for the lay of the land or for some history. Again - I love this placeSee more..
A decent sandy beach that is shallow for a good distance. Not that deep in width. Small parking lot. Don't go over the swim ropes on the right side towards the house or the inhabitants may yell at you even though they don't have the authority to.See more..
3.5Whole Foods Market(6 reviews) - Not sure why they serve food Flea & Street Markets
Most people go here for food shopping and they have good groceries at a expense price. But we decided to try there beer and food area. Parking is an issues unless you can walk a ways. Food and beer are ordered at the counter. Limited yuppie menu with a lot of vegan choices. Food was a little pricey but okay. Will probably never go here again so many better places .See more..
Great place to visit for 1/2 day! We packed a lunch and took the self guided walking tour. It was so fun walking through the past and my childhood. See more..
3.5Bretwood Golf Course(5 reviews) - Great golf coarse Spent 1-2 hours Golf Courses This is a ver well maintained & manicured golf coarse. 36 holes of a fairly challenging golf. You have the option to walk it or a cart. I have been playing here since I was a kid. This is a great affordable golf coarse. I wish I could play it more often.See more..
