2 Star Places To Visit in New Hampshire, United States (14)
2.5Lilac Mall(26 reviews) - They even took the Lilac Mall name off the building Spent 1-2 hours Shopping Malls
It's rapidly failing, sadly. It once had a bookstore, record shop, food court, movie theater, Sears, electronics, two magnet stores. Now that the other end of town is sporting two huge malls, side by side, I don't see much there, except Hannaford's, which is it's own store, further up the concourse. I think the Mall has outlived its sell-by date.See more..
2.5One Eleven Village Square Restaurant(5 reviews) - This restaurant is now closed Bars & Clubs The one eleven has closed and a new venue called Jamison’s has opened in its place. The new site is a bar and grill atmosphere. I have not been there so cannot comment on it.See more..
Golfed there twice this past week. One night filled in on a league second night golfed with my daughter. Overall course is in decent shape with the lack of rain we have had. Very slow took over 2 1/2 hours for nine holes. Close by so will go back. Can usually get a tee time last minute. See more..
2.5Canterbury Rest Area(3 reviews) - Great Rest Stop With Well-Informed Staff Spent < 1 hour Visitor Centers This well-shaded, clean, and rural rest area on I-93 northbound was a pleasant stop. Its restrooms were clean. Its vending machines worked. The rest stop had separate parking by types of vehicles. It also had picnic tables and abundant tourist materials, including free state roadmaps. I welcomed all that I found here. From a well-informed attendant, I learned that a traffic jam awaited me 7 miles (11.3 km) to the north. I was able to consult the state map and avoid most of it!See more..

2.5Paradise Ocean Club(2 reviews) - Beach Club for the whole family Bars & Clubs
The club is on a private beach you paid $10 dollars per person to get in,it has a full restaurant a snack bar a tiki bar, volleyball fileld, pool, cabana rent for parties and a beautiful beach. They have live music and a nice and sweet diversity. I love this place just a few minutes from a big city. The only thing is that you can not bring anything inside so you have to eat and drink what they sell, they have cabana boys that serve you on the beach for a family of 4 we expend about $200 from 12 to 7pm including lunch and alcoholic beverages.See more..
2.5Playland Arcade(2 reviews) - Arcade Family Fun Game & Entertainment Centers
This is a very Old Arcade that does a great job offering Family Fun at a reasonable price. My kids had a great time playing old and new games, skeeball and save up tickets to win a prize. Most are inexpensive trinkets but the kids always have fun. The young men working the counter when we went in were very helpful and accommodating.See more..
2.5Joybis Toys(2 reviews) - WELL-STOCKED LOCALLY-OWNED TOY STORE Saturday: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM Speciality & Gift Shops
Heading in the Food Court entrance at The Mall at Fox Run, I happened upon JoyBis Toys. It was between Buffalo Wild Wings and the fast food stalls. Although relatively small, the store was well-stocked with a wide variety of toys, games, and plush stuffed animals. Plus, I saw two 12-volt battery operated cars; one was a Batmobile. There were a lot of Ty brand stuffed plush animals --- one cuter than the other. The small pink poodles were precious and adorable. From what I saw, I’d say that JoyBis Toys has something for everyone. I liked all the things that I saw, so I’ll say that I think owner has good taste. I rate JoyBis Toys at 4.50 and highly recommend a visit. If you found this review helpful, please click THANK below.See more..

The mansion of NH's last colonial govenor is long gone, but the cellar hole remains. I would love to do a "dig" here, but I know that's not appropriate. Should the state do a better job of setting up some sort of display with period artifacts, sketches of the house, etc, of course, but NH is cheap, or as the locals say, frugal. I'm sure few within the state government thinks it is worth the time and moneySee more..
2.5Manchester Poker Room & Casino(2 reviews) - Average spot Saturday: 12:00 PM - 1:00 AM Spent 1-2 hours Casinos I went in with a few friends to see what the place was about. It was apparently a slow period with not much going on. The bar serves drinks that are nothing spectacular and I would say virtually any other spot in Manchester serves better and more potent drinks. This is not a spot I'd recommend for much of anything.See more..
2.0Bayberry Barn Christmas Shop(1 review) - Don't waste your time Speciality & Gift Shops This Christmas shop is located in the owner's house and is two small floors of Christmas items that left us very unimpressed. The store is 30 minutes north of Concord...in the middle of nowhere and the time that it may take to get there isn't worth it.See more..
2.0Pier Covered Bridge(1 review) - PIER RR COVERED BRIDGE aka CHANDLER STATION BRIDGE Saturday: 12:00 AM - 10:59 PM Spent < 1 hour Points of Interest & Landmarks • Bridges
Chandler's Mill Road runs off of John Stark Highway (routes 103 & 11). It is an old, unpainted Boston and Maine rairoad bridge. The bridge spans the Sugar River. The road is unpaved and there are no parking areas. Being there is little traffic, what traffic there is seems to speed--do not stop on a curve. The bridge is #NH-57. We went in early September and the foliage was just starting to turn.See more..
