Having minimal prior fly fishing experience, I had a fantastic experience with Dave and Jim on the river. These guys know their stuff, from fishing know-how to teaching it. They covered a lot of material in a day - casting techniques and practice, stripping and mending, how to fish with streamers, dry flies, and nymphs, how to find and approach the fish, how to manage your time on the water, landing a fish, where to fish, and more. I feel much more knowledgeable and ready to apply their lessons on my own with more confidence. I ended the day with great excitement and enthusiasm for the sport. See more..

Had a wonderful day with Captain Bob - we booked a 1/2 day striper trip with my sons and grandkids. They caught their first stripers and are still talking about how nice Captain Bob was. We had a great day with Bob on his boat! Loved how personable they were and how involved we could get with the work done on the boat. We took our family and my 13 year old nephew got really into pulling up the traps and taking the lobster out of them. It was awesome how they let us jump right in and do everything. We have been on lobster boats before but this one was the best experience. They were knowledgeable and we learned a lot. Of course the best part was we pulled up a 3.5 pound lobster, it was awesome! We had a great day haddock fishing. Captain Sam and crew were very motivated to get us fish. We made our limit, fish was cleaned and bagged for us. Boat was roomy and comfortable, i would highly recommend a trip with Captain Sam on the Kraken! See more..
